Princess Beatrice is marking a special family milestone, as her stepson Christopher 'Wolfie' Mapelli Mozzi celebrates his 10th birthday on Saturday. The private celebration comes shortly after reports surrounding her marriage to property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were dismissed.
While it's not known how the youngster will celebrate, Wolfie is sure to enjoy a special day surrounded by family as the Easter holidays get underway.
Earlier this month, his mother, Dara Huang, shared a sweet glimpse into the family dynamic, posting a picture of her son making a handmade card for his stepmother in honour of Mother's Day.
She captioned the snap: "Making his stepmom a Mother's Day card" alongside a pink heart emoji, later adding: "I taught him how to draw a (bee emoji)."
The post offered a rare public insight into Beatrice's role within the blended family she shares with Edoardo.
Denying the rumours
More recently, the couple appeared to present a united front when they were spotted dining together at Eel Sushi Bar in Notting Hill.
The outing came just days after friends of the couple exclusively told HELLO! that reports of them facing marriage difficulties were "not true at all".
A source said the couple, like many others, are "balancing" physical distance because of work with family life, after Edo was spotted taking a number of trips overseas.
They said: "The only thing Bea and Edo are navigating are their busy jobs and looking after their children! They've both had recent stints working abroad and like so many working parents, have balancing work with looking after the kids.
"Recent reports that things aren't good between them are not true at all. Things are great between them and the only distance between them recently has been physical distance because of work!"
Over the past few weeks, Beatrice has been maintaining a low profile following her father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's arrest in February. He was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office during his time as a trade envoy for the United Kingdom.
On 19 February, which also marked the former Duke's 66th birthday, Andrew was held in custody for 11 hours, later being pictured leaving Aylsham police station.
Co-parenting
Beatrice's stepson Wolfie is the son of the property developer and designer Dara from their previous relationship. The royal became his stepmother when she married Edoardo in a private Windsor ceremony in July 2020.
Beatrice and her husband Edo have since welcomed two daughters together; Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, who was born in September 2021, while their second daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, was born in January 2025.
Speaking to Harper's Bazaar about their blended family, Dara previously said: "Wolfie has had two sets of parents trying to help him on both sides, and I just think: 'The more, the merrier'.
"I feel lucky to have such positive people around him, who really embrace him – because it didn’t have to be so easy."
When Wolfie isn't spending time with Beatrice and Edoardo in their sprawling Cotswolds farmhouse, he lives with his mother in Chelsea, London.
