Lily Collins has shared how "proud" she is of her father, English musician Phil Collins, as he has partnered with The King’s Trust to auction off a once‑in‑a‑lifetime collection of rock treasures from his own collection.

Phil has worked with The King's Trust – formerly known as The Prince's Trust – since it was launched in 1976 by the then-Prince of Wales and he was one of the original ambassadors, and his daughter, Emily In Parisstar Lily, has told HELLO! that she is "hoping to be more involved in any way" she can with the organization.

"I know how involved my dad has been over the years, and I'm very proud of him, and I'm very proud that he wants to continue to be involved and to give back," she said.

The auction will include the outfit Phil made history in when he performed during the 1985 Live Aid event and became the only artist to perform on two continents in one day, played at Wembley Stadium in London before flying on Concorde to performed in Philadelphia. It has an estimate of $60,000.

The King's Trust is a global non-profit that works "for young people aged 11-30 by empowering them to build the confidence, skills and experience they need to succeed in the world of work".

Lily is Phil's third of five children. He welcomed Lily in 1989, five years after he married American Jill Tavelman. Phil, 75, lives in England and earlier in 2026 shared that he requires a live-in nurse to help him take medication and to assist with mobility. "It's an ongoing thing," he told the BBC's Era's Podcast.

"I have a 24-hour live-in nurse to make sure I take my medication as I should do. I've had challenges with my knee. I had everything that could go wrong with me, did go wrong with me. I got COVID in hospital. My kidneys started to back up. Everything seemed to converge at the same time."

Phil suffered from a spinal injury in 2007 that caused nerve damage and caused "drop foot", which refers to difficulty lifting the front of the foot when walking, causing it to drag. He also lives with type 2 diabetes, and has undergone five surgeries on his knee.
