Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling's wedding has offered a rare opportunity to glimpse extended members of the royal family.
They included Samuel Chatto, Princess Margaret's grandson, who made a rare public appearance with his girlfriend, Eleanor Ekserdjian, outside All Saints' Church in Kemble, Cirencester, on Saturday.
The couple, who are both University of Edinburgh graduates, are thought to have met in 2021, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength ever since.
Eleanor, 29, appears to have been given a firm royal seal of approval with her invite to the wedding, and looked beautiful in a navy dress paired with a bold feather headband and gingham clutch. She and Sam looked very loved-up, as she placed a hand on his arm and the rain appeared to stop for a brief moment.
Meanwhile, Samuel, also 29, who is a second cousin to Prince William and Prince Harry, as well as the groom himself, looked very handsome in a classic morning suit, including striped trousers, a grey waistcoat and a tailcoat.
They joined senior members of the royal family, including King Charles, Queen Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales, for the "intimate" ceremony.
Sparking engagement rumours
The couple previously sparked engagement rumours after Eleanor joined the royal family for Christmas at Sandringham in 2024, wearing a wool coat and beret-style hat for the service at St Mary Magdalene.
Traditionally, partners would not join their royal spouses at the service unless they married. However, Peter and Harriet attended following their engagement in December, while Prince Harry and his then-fiancée, Meghan Markle, attended in 2017.
Samuel and Eleanor have never confirmed the rumours.
The couple, who are both University of Edinburgh graduates, are thought to have met in 2021 and have been pictured together at events since 2022.
Eleanor has a degree in Fine Art and also studied at the Royal Drawing School. After undertaking a six-week residency in Armenia, she has showcased her work in numerous galleries, including London's Redfern Gallery, Gallery 286 and Seen Fifteen Gallery.
Rarely-seen royals
King Charles is very close to his cousin, Lady Sarah, 61, Sam's mother, who was also present at Saturday's wedding.
Samuel, who describes herself as an "abstract painter and film artist," is a second cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry.
However, he's only attended a handful of royal events, alongside his younger brother, Arthur Chatto, 27.
He's been given a thoroughly royal education, as he attended the royal-approved institution Eton College and even studied History of Art, though this was at Edinburgh, not St Andrews, like Prince William.
