Whether she’s turning up the volume on the Loose Women panel or navigating the high-stakes pressure of her brand-new ITV show, The Heat, Olivia Attwood is rarely off our screens - and we're not complaining. As the undisputed poster child of ITV, the 34-year-old’s schedule is relentless - but you’d never know it by looking at her.
From 12-hour filming days to red carpet events, Olivia’s skin has to work as hard as she does. Here, she reveals her "winning formulas" and cult products that keep her glowing.
The Pro Secret
In the fast-paced world of TV, Olivia values products that can do it all. Her absolute handbag essential is the Vaseline Gluta-Hya Lip Serum Gloss.
"It’s got SPF in it, so I make sure I keep it in my bag at all times," she explains. "Having a gloss that actually hydrates the lips rather than drying them out is so important." In fact, she and her makeup artist, Mikey, even use it on her cheeks for an extra boost of colour when she’s on the go. "You’ve got to stick with cult classics like Vaseline for a product that never disappoints."
The Skincare Foundation
For Olivia, a flawless look starts long before the foundation brush touches her face. "For me, good skincare is the absolute foundation for everything. When I’m filming 12-hour days or sat in glam between shoots, it naturally takes a massive toll on my skin. I know it sounds cliché, but consistency is literally key, so I always aim to use products I know work well together."
Olivia added: "My current favourites that I’m using on repeat are the Aestura moisturizer and La Roche-Posay SPF. SkinCeuticals and ZO Skin Health are also my total go-tos at the moment - I swear by them. When I’m filming long days, it naturally takes a massive toll on my skin. Consistency is literally key."
The Tech Must Have
To recover after a long day under studio lights, she treats herself to Dermalux red light therapy or her Shark De-Puff cold therapy sculpting tool. "Having the time to just sit down and use one of these is a real treat."
The Base - Primer
When it comes to her camera-ready complexion, Olivia describes herself as a "maximalist," using a layered approach to ensure her makeup survives the cameras from day to night.
"I’ll use a grippy primer from Maybelline, or the Vieve primer if I’m going for a dewier look for an event or when I’m on camera.
The Base - Foundation
I’m currently obsessed with the Dior Glow foundation. It’s perfect for taking you from day to night and feels amazing on the skin; it’s just a brilliant everyday product."
Her pro secret? "For foundation - or any liquid product, really - I always put it onto the back of my hand first and then apply it with a brush."
To set
To make her foundation last, she uses Morphe setting spray between layers of makeup, finished with Laura Mercier’s pink-based setting powder in ‘Rose.’ "I know everyone’s skin is different, but for me, that combination works so well. I’ve tried and tested loads of products, but these two together are a winning formula."
Lashes
For lashes, she’s been loyal to Maybelline Sensational Sky High Mascara for years. "I love a mascara that doesn’t need a mountain of product but still gives you proper length. Everything about it -the formula, the results, the look - is just everything. Definitely one of my favourites for sure."
The Iconic Glow & Finishing Touches
No Olivia Attwood look is complete without her signature radiance. But what's her glow-giving secret? For a special occasion, she turns to the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand, telling us: "The Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand is incredible. It gives you that classic Hollywood glamour glow, which is unreal if you want to elevate an evening look for an event or a special occasion. I love Charlotte’s products - they feel so luxurious but they’re also just trusty and reliable. This product in particular really finishes off a look for me."
With The Heat currently airing on ITV2 and ITVX, Olivia continues to prove that while the kitchen drama might be simmering, her beauty game remains flawlessly cool.
