A cropped boucle jacket is lightweight yet hardy, and I love the shade of red of Cat's. Normally, you expect to see these sorts of jackets in sweet pastel pinks or the classic Chanel colourways of white or black, so I appreciate the warm shades of Cat's.

Cat's jacket is from River Island, priced at £69. Called the Edge to Edge Boucle Jacket, the jacket has a cropped, boxy fit and made from a boucle tweed blend. Note the frayed hems and cuffs too. The actual colour of Cat's is labelled as red but it has a reddish tint to it, and it's finished with decorative buttons. That's a great detail to look out for if you're looking to copy Cat's look.

Cat's jacket - high street alternatives
As Cat's trophy jacket is in high demand (River Island only has a handful of sizes in stock, as does Very while ASOS has it in sizes 14 - 18) I had a search of the high street for some similar styles, sticking to Cat's colour palette of red.
The best on my radar is this Roman Clothing boucle jacket, priced at a budget friendly £40. It's a darker, more bold red than Cat's but equally as wearable - it's gorgeous with denim. It's on sale right now too, and still available in sizes 10 - 20.
You'll find another similar style to Cat's at Debenhams, but this one is a little different with its pinkier hue - a shade I love, especially with cream or white denim. This one is available in sizes 8 - 18.
