Effortless might be one of fashion’s most overused buzzwords, but there truly is no easier way to look chic and put together than by wearing a really great co-ord. Enter Cat Deeley, who stepped out in a perfectly cut matching set by ME+EM to host This Morning on Tuesday.

And could the timing be any better? With the weather currently keeping us all guessing, Cat’s fresh, mood-boosting outfit felt like a sartorial ray of sunshine. She swapped transitional layers for a more optimistic take on spring dressing, choosing a vibrant mint green co-ord that's both elegant and playful.

Cat's ME+EM bouclé set is made from Italian cotton-blend tweed with a textured finish. Softly structured, the sleeveless top has a cool straight cut that falls just below the high-waist of the matching wide-leg trousers. Retailing for £475 for the set or £225 and £450 separately, they're currently available to shop in all sizes.

The beauty of a matching set is that you can also style the pieces separately, so it's a worthy wardrobe investment. I'd pair the top with blue vintage wash wide-leg jeans and the trousers with sandals and a white tee.

Cat looked gorgeous wearing hers with Gianvito Rossi heels and Dorsey earrings, completing the look with glowing fresh-faced makeup and her hair styled in a bouncy blow-dry.

A tweed two-piece is a signature of French fashion house Chanel, famously worn in pastel shades by Princess Diana, whose mint green textured skirt suit showcased the house’s iconic bouclé fabric, signature trims, and timeless, playful elegance.

If you love mint green but you're looking for something lighter for summer, Boden has just dropped a linen suit in the shade and it's selling fast. The set includes a relaxed-fit blazer, tailored wide-leg trousers and a waistcoat - but again you can also shop the pieces separately.

It has glowing reviews, with one customer writing: "I bought this for a May wedding with the matching trousers and absolutely love the outfit. The jacket is beautifully finished with the usual Boden touches like pale pink piping on the lining and contrasting cuff buttons. I'm a UK 12 and bought a 12 which fits very well."

Another said: "A beautiful jacket, part of a set that makes a gorgeous spring/summer outfit. It is very well made and fits true to size."
