It was a joyous day for Maya Hawke on February 14, when she married singer Christian Lee Hutson, surrounded by her loved ones.
The famous daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke surprised fans with a Valentine's Day wedding in New York City.
But there were several of her Stranger Things cast members who were noticeably absent.
While Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughling, Natalie Dyer and Gaten Matarazzo were all reportedly in attendance, three main stars of the Netflix show weren't present. Here's what we know about their absences.
Millie Bobby Brown
Despite a close friendship with Maya, Millie was nowhere to be seen on her big day.
Instead, she posted a message on Instagram celebrating Galentine's Day in a sun-soaked location, likely to be LA.
Millie resides on a ranch in Georgia with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, and their young daughter but frequently travels to California. It's most likely she didn't attend Maya's wedding due to work and family commitments.
Noah Schnapp
Noah and Maya have been open about their adoration for one another with Noah even calling his co-star his "work crush."
"I always had a work crush on Maya Hawke, who plays Robin, and really wanted to work with her," hetold TUDUM. "I always would watch her in the other seasons and be like, “Oh my God, she's magnetic. I love her."
He further gushed: "She was amazing to work with and taught me so much. She became like an older sister for me, and it was really cool. Our relationship on the show versus outside the show kind of mirrored each other. She was kind of a mentor for me through the year."
Noah hasn't posted anything on social media for several weeks, so the reason for his absence remains unclear. He does however live in New York, a fact fans were quick to pick up on.
David Harbour
David also didn't attend Maya's wedding, but was instead photographed with a mystery woman in New York.
He looked lowkey in photos in which he and the woman in question sported matching baseball caps and winter attire. It's the same red-head he was seen alongside in the city last month, according to TMZ.
There were bullying and harassment allegations against made against David on the Stranger Things set.
At the season five premiere, after it was claimed that Millie had filed the complaint, they cleared the air.
She told Entertainment Tonight: "I’ve obviously had a really special bond with David because we have a father-daughter relationship, and we do every scene together. Its been so special to have him along the journey for me."
David praised Millie back and the rest of the cast too, when he told the outlet: "I've been proud to watch all of them grow up and become great artists. I doubt it will be the last time we'll see each other in this world or work together."
Maya's wedding
Maya wore a sleeveless white gown with a boat neckline and a drop-waist adorned with a simple flat bow, for her wedding.
The couple tied the knot at St. George's Episcopal on Stuyvesant Square in Manhattan, and following the wedding ceremony, guests walked from the chapel to the reception at The Players, a private members club in Gramercy Park.
Though the newlyweds have been romantically linked since 2023, when they were photographed kissing while walking in New York City, they have kept their relationship largely out of the public eye, only making their red carpet debut in April 2025 at the opening night of John Proctor Is The Villain, a Broadway production starring Maya's Stranger Things co-star Sadie Sink.
