She then shared some outtakes from the celebration on social media over the weekend. Olivia opted for a jewel and sequin-covered white mini-dress from Blumarine with a deep V neckline and a baby pink sequined trim.

The shimmering fit was perfectly complimented by her equally as sparkly princess tiara, her bright pink manicure, and a fluffy feather boa (we're sensing a theme here!). She was seen in LA covered up with a baby pink Burberry overcoat, peep-toe sandals and a Chanel bag.

Also in her birthday round-up was a photo of the truly overwhelming collection of bouquets she'd received, plus a clip of friends singing "Happy Birthday" to an excited Olivia.

The cake itself was also an on-theme standout, a two-tiered classic birthday cake with elaborate frosting ribbons, several candles and cherries as decorations, take a look in the video below…

2026 for Olivia Rodrigo

The year is already shaping up to be a big one for the singer, and will also mark five years to the release of her acclaimed debut album SOUR. The record was an immediate success, still one of the most streamed albums of all time on Spotify, and won Olivia three Grammy awards.

On the fifth anniversary of her debut single, the number one hit "drivers license," Olivia took to social media in January to share that she'll be dropping covers of the album's tracks with some of her favorite artists, including a cover of the lead hit alongside the Talking Heads' David Byrne.

"SOUR is turning 5 years old this year! And to celebrate, I'm so excited to announce an upcoming series of reimagined SOUR covers from some of my favorite artists ever," she said of it.

"We're starting off insanely strong with an incredible reworking of 'drivers license' from one of my all-time heroes, David Byrne. David is nothing short of a legend and I actually cried when I heard his version of this song."

Olivia continued: "You can stream it now or pre order a 7 inch vinyl with his cover and our version of 'Burning Down The House' from gov ball. I'm stoked!! Go give it a listen."

As for what the rest of the year will bring, she previously teased to NYLON: "I won't say too much, but I think 2026 is going to be a busy year for me. I've been having a lot of fun dreaming things up."
