Donald Faison is officially back in his Scrubs! The 51-year-old actor is starring in a milestone tenth season of the beloved Bill Lawrence sitcom, which premiered in 2001.
The new edition is a nine-episode reboot and premiered Wednesday, February 25 on ABC at 8pm, with new episodes airing weekly and available the next day on Hulu.
On the sitcom, Donald plays Dr. Chris Turk, the extroverted Chief of Surgery who falls in love with the Head Nurse, played by Judy Reyes. Off-screen, the actor is married to CaCee Cobb and is a father-of-two.

Before meeting Donald, CaCee was a personal assistant for Jessica Simpson. She even appeared on multiple reality shows with the popstar, including Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica and The Price of Beauty.
Because CaCee worked for Jessica for years, the two became close friends. In 2004, she moved into Jessica and her then-husband, Nick Lachey's house. But unfortunately, their friendship didn't last.
In Jessica's 2020 memoir, Open Book, she detailed their falling out. According to the popstar, CaCee didn't approve of Jessica's decision to divorce Nick or date John Mayer. CaCee quit just after Jessica started dating John, but the two reunited in 2008 while the singer worked on her country album.

In 2005, Donald and CaCee met at the former's co-star's birthday party. While Zach Braff celebrated his 30th, the future couple fell in love. The two got engaged in 2011 after dating for six years.
Zach broke the news of his friend's engagement on X, formerly known as Twitter, when he posted: "Congrats to @donald_faison and @caceecobb on their engagement. Just wish I was there to run around you both with sparklers."

Not only did Zach introduce the couple, he also let them get married in his backyard! Donald and CaCee tied the knot on December 15, 2012 in a star-studded affair. Zach was a groomsman and walked Jessica Simpson down the aisle – she was CaCee's maid of honor.
Also in attendance was Ashlee Simpson, Seth Green, Donald's Scrubs co-star Sarah Chalke, and his Clueless co-stars Breckin Meyer, Elisa Donovan, and Stacey Dash.

Donald was married before meeting CaCee. The actor started dating Lisa Askey in 1997 while she was a nursing student. They married in 2001 and were together for four years before splitting in 2005.
While they were together, Donald and Lisa welcomed three children – twins Kaya and Dade, 26, and Kobe, 23. In 2017, Lisa tragically passed away. To honor his ex-wife and the mother of his children, he wrote to Instagram: "She and I never really saw eye to eye but one thing we did share was our love for our children. RIP Lisa. You raised three beautiful children into fine adults and I am forever grateful for that. May god bless your soul with light and love."

Donald already had four children – three from his relationship with Lisa and one, a son named Sean, from a previous relationship in the '90s – when he met CaCee.
In August 2013, the couple welcomed their first child together, a son named Rocco. She was even pregnant at the same time as her best friend Jessica, who gave birth to her son Ace on June 30, 2013. Two years later, in April 2015, CaCee gave birth to daughter Wilder.
In 2019, Donald explained to People that he isn't a regular discipliner. "As my kids have gotten older, I've become … not more opinionated," he said. "But I feel like I've had to use my experiences in life to explain to them why what they're doing isn't going to work. But as far as being strict, no. And that's good and bad."
