Jeff Probst is best known for the role he has held for a whopping 26 years, being the host of Survivor.
The series, which premiered in 2000, is celebrating its milestone 50th season, Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans, premiering Wednesday, February 25 at 8pm ET on CBS.
But a few years ago, the veteran TV presenter, 64, acquired another big role, that of dad, when he married his second wife Lisa Ann Russell. Learn all about his family life below.
Jeff's first wife
Prior to achieving Survivor fame, Jeff, who is originally from Wichita, Kansas but spent his teenage years in Bellevue, Washington, was married to Shelly Wright, a psychotherapist, from 1996 to 2001.
Little is known about the psychotherapist today, but she appears to be based in Tennessee.
His love story with Lisa Ann
Lisa Ann and Jeff met at a Christmas party hosted by his good friend and Survivor producer Mark Burnett, and they made their first public outing together in August 2010 at the 62nd Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
They tied the knot the following year, on December 5, 2011, in a private ceremony held in his backyard at his Los Angeles home.
The couple is based in Los Angeles, presumably still in the residence they bought for $5 million in 2011 that was previously owned by "the Singing Cowboy" Gene Autry, which the Los Angeles Times described as a Monterey-style house built in 1949 featuring two stories spanning about 8,000 square feet sitting on nearly four acres of land, and boasting five-bedrooms, seven-baths.
Who is Lisa Ann?
Lisa, 53, is from Sterling, Illinois, and started her career in modeling in the early 1990s, before venturing into acting.
She eventually landed a minor role in Saved By The Bell: The College Years, her screen debut, and where she met her future first husband Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who famously starred as Zach Morris in the original sitcom and sequel. They were married from August 1996 to June 2010, and share two kids, Michael, born in 2004, and Ava, born in 2006.
She only ever appeared in a handful of films in the 1990s, her last film credit being Sinbad: The Battle of the Dark Knights from 1998.
Per her IMDb, she was also a talent coordinator on The Jeff Probst Show from 2012 to 2013.
Jeff's stepkids
Jeff, Lisa Ann, Mark-Paul, and his wife Catriona McGinn, who he married in 2012, all co-parent Lisa Ann and Mark-Paul's two kids together. "I always thought I would have ... this great family unit, because that's what I came from. And then, one day, I met this woman, and it happened. And she had two kids," Jeff shared on Larry King Now in December 2012, adding: "They raised these kids with the kind of love that they just see me and Catriona as two more parents."
Michael, now 22, was seven years old when Jeff became his stepfather, and Ava, who will be 20 this year, was five. Both kids have spent time on the Survivor set in its different international locations, including in the Philippines and its current homebase in Fiji.
He previously dated a survivor star
Between his divorce from Shelly and his marriage to Lisa Ann, Jeff dated Survivor: Vanuatu alum Julie Berry, from 2004 until early 2008, when he was 43 and she was 24. "Nobody is more surprised than me that I could find my love affair on a show that I host," he told People in 2004. "But the truth is when something like this gets dropped in your lap, you don't look at how it's wrapped, you don't look at how it's being delivered. You just put your arms around it and you hold on because this is my love affair and there’s no question in my mind about it."
