Former tennis player Maria Sharapova has been taking it easy lately.
She's been enjoying her stay in Badia, Italy, which resembles a surreal winter wonderland full of snow-covered mountains and pine trees. Maria firstly went skiing and then she indulged in a luxurious outside hot tub overlooking the resort's massive land.
She shared her fashionable look online, as she donned a sleek one-piece bathing suit with spaghetti straps on her social media. Right afterwards, she got nice and toasty in an indoor sauna to relax from her productive day.
Maria shared a video in which she showcased all the activities she partook in and she captioned it: "I finally made it to the Dolomites!! What a special place this is. Understated. Not flashy at all. What a relief!"
She added: "I'm not a skier (yet) but I trekked, hiked and swam outside, all in one day. Rinse & repeat!! And what a beautiful property @amanrosaalpina is. Can't wait for you to see what we filmed."
Recent travel
While most tourists recently visited Italy strictly for the Olympics, Maria had other plans.
The former athlete had quite the adventure in Venice, where she witnessed gorgeous golden hour rooftop views, explored museums, ate delicious meals, and took a wholesome boat ride around the water city.
She captioned the post: "Culture vulture battery recharge."
Maria's life after retiring
When Maria isn't enjoying the fruit of her labor, she's hustling hard. She launched her own candy brand called Sugarpova in 2012.
Since retiring from tennis in 2020, Maria immersed herself in the world of investing. She has mainly invested in the wellness brand Therabody, which previously went by Theragun.
Maria expressed her newfound passion and shared: "I think my biggest strength as an investor is that I'm able to bring a 360-degree outlook to the table — as an athlete, an entrepreneur, and a consumer. Since Therabody's launch, they have continued to demonstrate they are on the cutting-edge of combining technology, fitness, and wellness, bringing more balance to people's lives," per CNBC.
She added: "I try to create deeper and more meaningful partnerships that go beyond just having my name on a product. More than anything, I like to play a strategic role in my investments and pursue opportunities where I'm able to share my vision and experience."
Maria is also the co-owner of Supergoop, she's also invested in UFC, and she's even been a guest judge on Shark Tank, during which she invested in Bala Bangles with Mark Cuban.
She's also collaborated with architect Dan Meis to bring their joint vision for spa facilities alive internationally.
Her lifestyle change
Compared to her once-busy tennis career, she loves her entrepreneurial lifestyle which came with a huge benefit.
She revealed: "Having more flexibility in my schedule and not having to change things or plan things last minute, has been one of the biggest joys in this new phase. Lately, I've been able to explore new ways of working out or dedicate most of my day to the Sugarpova business."
The busy mogul is also the mother to her son Theodore, three, whom she welcomed into the world with Alexander Gilkes, her fiancé since 2020.
