Pierce Brosnan is one proud dad! The James Bond star stepped out in London the night of February 26 to celebrate a new achievement for his youngest son.
The actor, 72, joined the opening for his son Paris Brosnan's debut UK collection, titled "Collective Energy," at the Mayfair gallery in London. And the event was definitely a family affair.
Along with Pierce, the LA-based artist's older brother Dylan Brosnan, 29, was also in attendance, as was Paris' girlfriend, Alex Lee-Aillon. Paris and Dylan's mom Keely Shaye Smith was seemingly not in attendance.
Hello! was there to congratulate the artist, who entered with his model girlfriend and childhood sweetheart girlfriend Alex to a round of rapturous applause.
"I'm inspired by people," Paris, who was wearing a heavy silver chain and oversized black jacket, exclusively told us. "That's why this exhibition is called Collective Energy - it's all the people around me."
Paris's popularity was immediately in evidence at the event, with many attendees celebrating with glasses of Bollinger champagne. A number of his vibrant paintings - some which came with £15,000 price tags - were already marked with a red sticker, indicating that the piece had already been sold. "The best pieces come from surrendering to the process," one of his captions read. "I let the colors and movement dictate where the work goes."
The artist, who has recently exhibited his work in Germany, has said how painting was like therapy for him. "It was a way to get something out that I didn't have language for," he has said. "I'd go through periods where things felt really heavy internally, and painting was how I processed that weight. I never planned to turn it into a career."
