Jake Gyllenhaal may have a starring role in The Bride! but it was his longtime girlfriend, Jeanne Cadieu, who stole the spotlight at the world premiere in London on Thursday.
The French model, 29, looked incredible in an eye-catching dress as she made a rare red carpet appearance to support her beau, 45, and his sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal, who wrote and directed the film.
Jeanne added a new twist to the 'naked' dress trend and put her statuesque physique on display in a figure-hugging black turtleneck dress that featured a drawn outline of a naked female body.
Not distracting from the quirky design, Jeanne wore her dark hair in a slick updo, kept her makeup natural by focusing on a radiant complexion, and added minimal accessories, opting for chunky drop earrings and a black and gold clutch with gold metallic fingers as the clasp.
Jake, meanwhile, who stars as Ronnie Reed in The Bride!, stood proudly beside his girlfriend in a double-breasted black suit.
Jake and Jeanne were first spotted together in late 2018 on walks in New York City and Paris, sparking rumors that they were together, which weren't directly confirmed for nearly three years.
They made things official in September 2021, when they made their first red carpet appearance together at the premiere of Maggie Gyllenhaal's directorial debut, The Lost Daughter.
They've since made occasional public appearances together, such as the Paris premiere of Jake's film Ambulance in May 2022, the Cannes Film Festival a few months later, and the New York City premiere of his movie, Road House, in March 2024.
Since their first carpet, Jake has been more open about discussing his relationship. In a 2022 interview with Esquire, he said: "In a lot of ways, we're family," he said of his girlfriend. "I'm in a relationship that is full of love and support. I feel so at ease."
He added: "I'm not unaware that there's interest in my life. My life is wonderful. I have a relationship that is truly wonderful, and I have a family I love so much. And this whole period of time has made me realize that."
In an interview with Howard Stern in October 2021, Jake affirmed that marriage is on the table.
"That's all I want is to be a good husband and a father…That really is what I want," Jake said.
"And now that I have fulfilled a lot of things in my career that I feel comfortable with, I can safely say that. I don't know if I could have said that before."
Speaking to THR last year, Jake alluded to marriage once again. "I'm not going to give you timing [about wedding bells]," he said.
"I think we all get into that space of work, work, work, and for a long time, my career took precedence. But I'm at a point in my life where I realise that family really is the only thing that matters to me."
