Maya Hawke has been married for one month now, and she is still glowing like a newlywed.
The Stranger Things actress, 27, looked beautiful at the world premiere of her romantic comedy, Wishful Thinking, during SXSW in Austin, Texas, on Thursday, and she was joined by her supportive husband, Christian Lee Hutson, 35.
Maya doesn't appear to want to let go of her wedding vibes just yet, and wore a simple, sleeveless white dress with a round neckline that fell below her knees in soft pleats.
She added a black, oversized jacket, off-white pumps, and a small white handbag. Maya's blonde hair was down in waves, and she kept her makeup minimal with rosy lips.
The singer-songwriter walked the red carpet with her co-stars, but she was joined at the after-party by her musician husband, who rocked a denim shirt with a tan-colored corduroy jacket and dark pants.
At the event, Maya raved about how "absolutely fantastic" married life has been so far, telling People: "I'm a very, very lucky person who's very happy right now. And yeah, couldn't be more grateful."
She reiterated her feelings in a separate interview with Page Six and said that she was "ecstatically happy" after her secret wedding.
"I mean… love is the best," she gushed. "And like, you know, even to connect it to [the characters in Wishful Thinking], if I had any advice for Charlie and Julia, it would be that they found a way to be more honest with each other about how they feel.
"Because I really – I feel so lucky to have found my best friend and to have someone I can tell anything to," she added. "It makes something like getting married feel like, oh, of course, you know, not like what, and I'm very, very, very lucky, so I'm really happy."
Maya and Christian were first romantically linked in 2023 after meeting while working on music together. Christian contributed to Maya's music, including her albums Moss and Chaos Angel.
The couple made their red carpet debut on April 14, 2025, at the opening night of Broadway's John Proctor Is the Villain, which starred Maya's Stranger Things co-star, Sadie Sink.
The couple tied the knot at St. George's Episcopal on Stuyvesant Square in Manhattan on Valentine's Day, February 14, and following the wedding ceremony, guests walked from the chapel to the reception at The Players, a private members club in Gramercy Park.
Maya looked beautiful in a custom Prada white satin gown, with a classic boat neckline, a bow on the front, and a voluminous skirt with layers of tulle underneath. Christian, meanwhile, wore a classic tuxedo, also by Prada.
For their special day, the couple was supported by Maya's famous parents, exes Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, as well as celebrity friends like her Stranger Things co-stars Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, among others.
