Alysa Liu might have interview fatigue — understandably so!

The 20-year-old American figure skater is fresh off of a spectacular Olympics run, during which she secured two gold medals, becoming the first U.S. woman to win two golds at a single Olympic Games.

She brought those very medals to an appearance on TODAY Monday, March 2, during which she had a bit of an unexpected reaction to a question from co-anchor Dylan Dreyer.

After the NBC meteorologist read out loud a supposed letter that a younger Alysa had written to her future self, she couldn't help but ask: "I wrote that? When? Where?" noting with a laugh it was her first time seeing it.

And though she didn't recall her words — it was a 2019 letter she, as well as gold medalist hockey Player Jack Hughes, wrote for ESPN — she did have an incredibly thoughtful answer when asked what she would tell her younger self, simply declaring "nothing."

"Nothing, she's got it, she'll figure it out, she'll go through it and I don't want to mess that up," she emphasized.
