Melanie Griffith has been keeping a low profile on social media over the past few months, but recently returned to Instagram for a very special reason.
The Hollywood star - who is a doting mom and stepmom to four children - shared a heartfelt tribute to her stepson, NCIS actor Jesse Johnson, following his latest career achievement.
Jesse - who has already made a name for himself as an actor - is also a talented interior designer, and recently launched his own brand, Jesse Johnson Creative.
This was celebrated in Architectural Digest, alongside a spread of photos of his work.
Alongside several photos of Jesse's latest design project - a New York City loft apartment in SoHo, comprising of stunning vintage-inspired rooms with furniture sourced from around the world - Melanie wrote: "My son @jaydoubleyoujay has a spread in Architectural Digest!! I love his style, his elegance. He's got a great eye! Interior Designer extraordinaire!! Check it out! @archdigest."
Fans were quick to comment, with one writing: "Oh wow, that's fantastic Melanie, what talent," while another wrote: "You must be so proud!" A third added: "Amazing, he is so talented!"
Jesse also shared the news on his own Instagram account. He wrote: "Thrilled to mark the official launch of @jessejohnsoncreative with a phenomenal story just out in @archdigest. Written by esteemed architectural critic @ianvolner, the publication features our most recent project, a residential loft for a discerning client, in New York City's Soho neighborhood. Link in bio.

Melanie has maintained a close relationship with Jesse following her divorce from Don Johnson, having become his stepmom when he was just seven-years-old. She is also mom to son Alexander Bauer, who she welcomed with ex-husband Steven Bauer in 1985, and daughters Dakota Johnson - who she shares with Don, and Stella, born in 1996, who she shares with ex-husband Antonio Banderas. All four children's names feature in a crossword-style design tattoo, that Melanie got in 2023. The ink work replaced her Antonio tattoo, which she had done in the nineties during her marriage to the actor.

Melanie has maintained a close relationship with her ex-husbands, and previously described them as her friends. "I love them with all my heart," she told People in 2020.
