The Moonlighting star has been a household name for decades and it seems her starring gene has made its way down the family tree. Both her daughters have found success, one in front of the camera and one in the writers' room, while her son has pursued a more low-key career.

We're looking at Cybill Shepherd's well-known children and her own relationship to fame.

Clementine is an actress and Cybill's eldest child

Clementine Ford

Born in June 1979, Clementine Ford is the eldest daughter of Cybill Shepherd and the only child she shares with ex-husband David M. Ford. Clementine made her acting debut on Cybill in 1998, followed by roles in American Pie and Bring It On. She worked alongside her mother again between 2007 and 2009, this time as her onscreen daughter in The L Word and worked on The Young and the Restless for a year.

The actress has been married twice, first to actor Chad Todhunter. She is currently married to actor Cyrus Wilcox and the pair share two children, son Elijah and daughter Welles. Her most recent onscreen credit was 2018 short Dear Sister.

Ariel Ladensohn was born Molly Ariel Shepherd-Oppenheim on 6 October 1987. She and her twin brother, Cyrus, are the children of Cybill and her second husband Bruce Oppenheim. Ariel, like half-sister Clementine, works in the entertainment industry and has writer and producer credits on Futurama, Solar Opposites, and Hazbin Hotel.

According to her IMDb, she studied playwriting at Yale and worked as a playwright before her TV career. She was reportedly introduced to now-wife Eliza Ladensohn in 2010 by sister Clementine and married the fashion photographer in 2019, the couple since welcoming one child together.

Cybill's only son Cyrus remains largely out of the spotlight. Twin brother to Ariel, he has pursued roles with Teach For America and as a high school teacher in LA, specialising in history and maths.

He made headlines in 2010 when he was charged with theft at Philadelphia airport, stealing items from two passengers' carry on-cases.

Marriage

Cybill first tied the knot with cinematographer David Ford in 1978, welcoming daughter Clementine, born in 1979, just a year later. The couple parted ways in 1982.

She married chiropractor Bruce Oppenheim a few years later and their twins Ariel and Cyrus soon arrived. However, the pair decided to go separate ways in 1990, just three years after saying 'I do'. In 2012, Cybill told The New York Daily News that she was engaged to Andrei Nikolajevic, a psychologist and former jeweller.
