Lainey Wilson added a rockstar edge to her typical bell-bottom style at the SXSW premiere of her Netflix documentary, Lainey Wilson: Keepin' Country Cool, on March 17.
The 33-year-old country star looked incredible in a sheer lace shirt worn over a black leather bra with silver stud detailing and a pair of tight leather pants.
Lainey's outfit, complete with silver-studded belts and a black cowgirl hat, highlighted her weight loss, showcasing her trim waist and flat stomach.
The "Watermelon Moonshine" singer lost 20lbs in 2023 after embracing a new fitness regimen, which included teaming up with a personal trainer.
She also changed her diet, adding in more fruits and vegetables and cutting out sugar, dairy, and processed foods.
In a 2023 interview with Delish, Lainey shared an insight into her eating habits, revealing she favors scrambled eggs for breakfast, yogurts or salads for lunch, grilled chicken for dinner, and hummus and almonds for snacks.
After fans began to take notice of her slimmer frame, reports suggested the singer had lost a whopping 70lbs, with fake ads claiming she turned to weight loss gummies, a rumor she was quick to shut down.
"I am sure some of you have seen some ads about me losing weight and being hospitalized and taking some weight loss gummies blah blah blah to save my life, well surprise, it ain't true," she said in an Instagram video in June 2023.
"People will do whatever to make a dollar, even if it is lies. Cause ain't nobody sent me any gummies."
Lainey then addressed her weight loss, adding: "If I have lost weight it's because I am working hard playing hour-and-a-half shows and running around every night of my life.
"To be honest, me losing weight or gaining weight ain't got anything to do with my music," Lainey continued. "I love y'all but I don't want you spending your money on something that ain't real, don't fall for it."
Lainey is a big fan of meal prepping too, and tries to stay "disciplined" to stop herself reaching for "bad" foods.
"I will say I feel like I'm becoming a little bit more prepared than I used to be," she told Delish. "I really do enjoy meal prepping and having things handy, because I feel like when you don't have those things handy, that's when you mess up and that's when you eat something that makes you feel bad."
She added: "It's really hard to make sure that you're disciplined enough to do that. I try my best that I possibly can."
Lainey doesn't deprive herself, though. "Even if it's just a little piece of candy, I've got to have my dark chocolate," she admitted. "At some point in time, I will have a bite of chocolate every single day."
