Mindy Kaling made a stunning entrance to the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards on Tuesday in an embellished dress that showcased her 40lbs weight loss.
The 46-year-old turned heads in a blue strapless dress, featuring a dazzling diamond print and a cinched waist.
Mindy looked slimmer than ever in the ankle-grazing frock and added height to her petite frame with a pair of open-toe heels.
She wore her raven hair in cascading waves over one shoulder, and accessorized with a silver clutch, drop earrings, and chunky rings.
Held at Nya Studios, the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards celebrate emerging talent and innovation within the industry, making it the perfect backdrop for Mindy to showcase her distinctive style.
The actress admitted she is more "confident" than ever in her body after losing a whopping 40lbs in 2023.
Mindy's body transformation hasn't gone unnoticed, either, but while she finds the interest "flattering", it can also be overwhelming at times.
"I'm feeling really confident in my body these days, which is not something that I've been able to say for my whole life, unfortunately," she previously told People. "I feel great.
"I know people are really interested in my body and the changes in my body, and I think it's flattering, and sometimes it's just a little much, so I don't try to tune it in too much. The truth is that I spend so much time and energy trying to be healthy."
Mindy's weight loss secrets include 20 miles of running or hiking each week and weightlifting with her trainer.
"It's really a big commitment," she admitted. "It's hard with two kids that I wake up really early and I fit it in.
"I basically live in workout clothes so I can get it in, get an extra mile in," she added.
"I just tell myself I have to do basically 20 miles a week of either hiking or running. And so that's been incredibly helpful to me."
Mindy recently shared on the Today show that dieting never worked for her because she found limiting certain foods too restrictive.
"I used to be the person that was like, 'I have to stop eating this food or six weeks beforehand I'm only going to juice,'" she said, adding that the diet would only work "30 percent of the time" and "70 percent of the time [she] couldn't stick to it."
"I am never going to stop being a foodie. I'm never going to be someone who can just have spinach and salmon every single day."
