New photos from the scene of Anne Burrell's death have reportedly revealed "dozens of pills" and "empty medicine bottles."
The Food Network star was reportedly discovered by her husband, Stuart Claxton, unconscious on the bathroom floor at their Brooklyn home in the early hours of June 17, 2025.
Previous reports indicated that law enforcement officials had discovered a large amount of "unknown pills" beside her body.
In July, her death was ruled a suicide, citing "acute intoxication due to the combined effects of diphenhydramine, ethanol, cetirizine, and amphetamine."
Now, new photos shared by the New York Police Department (NYPD) on Tuesday show multiple pills in a dish near the toilet bowl, as well as bottles of Advil, Zyrtec, Motrin, and a ValuMeds allergy-relief antihistamine lying sideways on the bathroom floor. The photos were shared with People.
Another image shows discarded cigarette butts on the floor next to a lighter. HELLO! has reached out to the NYPD for comment.
The NYPD also released video footage from that night of Anne and her husband walking through their exterior gate leading to their apartment.
Another clip shows them entering the lobby of the building, and Anne leaning against a wall while they wait for the elevator.
Inside the elevator, Anne reportedly leans back against the wall, crossing her hands before turning her head away from her husband while he talks.
She then stares at the elevator wall while he gestures toward her and reportedly appears close to saying something before stopping herself.
Anne's death was announced by her representatives and family in a statement released on June 17, just weeks after she made public appearances and posted on social media just days before.
"Anne was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend — her smile lit up every room she entered," the statement read. "Anne's light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world. Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, spirit, and boundless love remain eternal."
Last month, the NYPD confirmed that a "suicidal note" was left in the primary bedroom of Anne's home and found by an investigator following her death.
Multiple outlets reported that investigators also discovered "suicidal" journal entries on a bed in the same room, according to the police report.
In the report, the NYPD also confirmed that in the early morning hours of June 17, 2025, the day Anne died, a redacted individual "married to Anne," (seemingly her husband), noticed that "the bed was made in their room which is not normal."
He subsequently found his wife on the bathroom floor "with a bunch of over the counter pills on the floor." He attempted to wake her by "shaking her and slapping her face," and immediately called 911 when she was unresponsive.
According to the police report, Stuart, a marketing executive, maintained to authorities that Anne had "never attempted suicide in the past" and "never talked about it," nor had she shown "any signs that she would do something like this."
