Rebel Wilson made headlines when she embarked on her "year of health" in 2020, resulting in her staggering 80lbs weight loss.
However, despite maintaining an active lifestyle and eating "as healthy" as she can, the actress shared a realization about her body with her fans this week.
Rebel posted a photo of herself on her Instagram Stories, showing off her figure in a black sports bra and shorts, alongside an honest message about her body image.
"I don't think I'll ever have a bikini body – that's just not me," she wrote. "But my body has carried me through this life and I am so grateful for it!"
In a separate post, she listed the lifestyle changes she has made over the last few years, adding: "I'm trying to get in my daily steps, do a Pilates class once or twice a week, some strength training when I can."
Rebel then admitted that from "time to time," she will turn to weight loss drugs to help maintain her slimmed-down physique.
She continued: "Eat as healthy as I can (but let's face it I love sweets - so I need those GLPs from time to time to give a little help)."
The actress finished by sharing a photo of herself and her daughter, Royce Lillian, three, whom she welcomed via surrogate in November 2022 with her wife Ramona Agruma, who is now pregnant with their second child.
"Being a working Mum, you just try your best! Shout out to everyone trying to be the healthiest versions of themselves while dealing with a LOT!" she concluded.
In 2024, Rebel admitted in an interview with The Sunday Times that she briefly tried the type 2 diabetes medication Ozempic to aid in her weight loss.
Last year, she admitted she was "shocked" by the attention she received amid her transformation.
"I was shocked with how much attention I got just for losing weight when I'd done so many things in my life," Rebel admitted on SiriusXM's Let's Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa.
"But then somehow that seemed to get so much attention. Like, I've got two degrees from university and done a lot of great work as an actor and producer and everything, but losing weight was the thing that people seem to be really interested in."
She added that while the newfound attention was "weird", she understood people's "fascination" with her weight loss.
"When I watched people that I really like, like Oprah, and whenever she was doing an episode about weight loss or something I'd be so intrigued. So I got the fascination with it."
Rebel's journey towards health was initially inspired by the advice of her IVF doctor in 2019. Due to her polycystic ovary syndrome diagnosis, he advised her to shed weight to improve her fertility, kick-starting her journey.
