Anne Hathaway has revived her Andy Sachs bangs just in time to kick off the press tour for The Devil Wears Prada 2. The actress showcases her blunt bangs at the Seoul, South Korea, premiere on April 8.
Styled in an elegant updo with wispy, chin-length tendrils that framed her face, Anne's raven locks got a well-deserved refresh by Orlando Pita for the red carpet. Tina Farey, Editorial Director at Rush Hair, spoke to us about Anne's new hairstyle.
"As the press tour kicks off for the Devil Wears Prada 2, Anne Hathaway has been sporting one of this season's top trends – wispy bangs!" she shared. "Paired with an 'un-done' up-do, this style beautifully frames and softens her heart face shape, injecting texture and dimension to her hair."
She continued: "When it comes to achieving the perfect wispy bangs – the secret is in how you blow-dry the hair! Anne’s wispy feathered fringe is on the longer side, so I’d recommend using a large round brush to shape the fringe and inject extra volume. Blow-dry the fringe back and forth away from the root, then back and forth to get it sitting perfectly central – it works every time!"
As for her ensemble, the actress was styled by Erin Walsh in a Vaquera design. The look featured a dove-gray, off-the-shoulder top with voluminous bubble-hem sleeves and a corseted silhouette. She paired it with wide-leg leather trousers and sleek black pointed-toe heels, finishing the outfit with a selection of dazzling Bvlgari jewels.
Meanwhile, Anne's makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a bronze eye, a pinch of blush and a glossy lip.
Anne Hathaway's press tour looks
The star is certainly leaning into method dressing, draping herself in the seams and stitches of some of the most covered labels. For the Tokyo premiere, she donned a strapless gown from Valentino's spring/summer 2026 couture collection that featured a ruffled skirt. The black and white gown was an ode to the colors of the movie's branding, with a striking red accent featuring on the bodice of the garment.
"I’m aware of the eyeballs on it," her stylist, Erin, told British Vogue. "But I feel like I’ve been training my whole life to do this. There’s always pressure: It’s what we do and what we love."
She continued: "It's been an exercise of joy – having the opportunity to tie in layers of Andy [Sachs] with Annie, and playing with all of the different designers."
"If you look at all the major houses that have these new [designers] leading them, there’s this idea of leaning into joy, and clothes that make you feel like the supernova version of yourself. It’s going to be joyful, irreverent, empowering, confident – and strong."
To kick off the press tour in Mexico City, Anne wore a black tailored number by Schiaparelli that featured a fringe skirt accented with a sculptural gold belt and buttons. Elsewhere, she rocked a red sequin mini dress by Stella McCartney.
