Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz have been mainstays of Brooklyn for over a decade. While the couple is British, they made the New York City neighborhood of Cobble Hill their home in 2017. For almost a decade, they've been seen on many walks around the quaint Brooklyn area.

When did Daniel and Rachel move to Brooklyn?
In 2017, the British actors bought property in Cobble Hill, seven years after they first started dating. Daniel and Rachel tied the knot in an intimate New York City ceremony attended by just four guests, including Craig's daughter, Ella; and Rachel's son, Henry – from her previous relationship with Darren Aronofsky.
How many rooms was their townhouse?
The couple have lived in their six-bedroom. 4.5-bath townhouse for almost a decade after purchasing it for $6.75 million from famous writers Martin Amis and Isabel Fonseca, who apparently loved a party.
The 6,600-square-foot, four-story townhouse was damaged by a fire caused by a faulty chimney under the previous ownership during a New Years Eve party. The couple sold the house to the Craig-Weisz family and the Landmarks Preservation Commission soon approved plans to renovate so the star of The Mummy and her husband could make the house a home.
The impressive Brooklyn pad is set over four stories and is situated in the Cobble Hill Historic District. At the time of purchase, luxury real estate agency Corcoran detailed that the A-listers had been "offered as a clean, blank slate" and that the roof was brand new as a result of the blaze.
Not only did Rachel and Daniel buy the townhouse, they also bought a neighboring home and sold it in February 2025 for $4.05 million.

Rachel and Daniel's former neighborhood is highly sought after in the New York area. The picturesque 40-block area is filled with townhomes like the actors' as well as adorable shopping and restaurants New Yorkers travel far distances to dine at.

The neighborhood is a great place to raise kids, which Daniel and Rachel know well. The couple welcomed their daughter Grace in 2018.
