Nick Carter and his wife Lauren Kitt Carter were destined to be together — or at least his late brother Aaron Carter, who passed away in 2022, certainly thought so.
The Backstreet Boys singer has been married to his wife since 2014, and he has his later brother as well as their sister Angel Carter to thank for that.

Lauren and Nick met at his very own house in 2009, after his sister Angel and brother Aaron insisted on them meeting, and she came to a movie night they were having.
Speaking with Inside Weddings in 2014, Nick recalled: "Three hours into conversing on my balcony overlooking the beach, we saw shooting star after shooting star," adding: "We both looked at each other and it got quiet."
He realized he wanted to propose four years later, when they spent the longest they had ever spent without each other while on tour in Australia.

Lauren was born and raised in Southern California. She started briefly working as an actress shortly after she met Nick, appearing in a short movie titled The Pendant in 2010, and later appeared on an episode of One Life to Live, the movie Dead 7, which starred Nick and a few other Backstreet Boys, plus she has featured in a few of her husband's music videos as well.
She also previously ran a fitness YouTube channel called Kitt Fit, and appeared on her and her husband's reality TV show, I Heart Nick Carter, which documented their engagement and wedding.

Lauren and Nick share three children together, having first become parents on April 19, 2016, when they welcomed their son Odin Reign. Nick wrote on Instagram at the time: "I just love how peaceful he is. Daddy will be home soon Odin."
They welcomed daughter Saoirse Reign three years later — and some time after suffering a miscarriage — on October 2, 2019.
Last but certainly not least, they welcomed their daughter Pearl Reign on April 21, 2021. Pearl spent the first five days of her life in the NICU, having experienced respiratory distress, but eventually successfully recovered.
