She takes the time to not only swim and tan, but to also enjoy a picnic, read, meditate, journal and more, with the relaxing horizon in the background.
The entertainer shared all the ways she prioritizes her mental health in 2023 on social media, sharing: "Meditating. Selfcare. Sound baths. Moving my body. Reading or listening to a book. Journaling. Drawing. Reading or writing poetry. Spending time in nature. Snuggling. Listening to music. Impromptu dance parties. Having a proper chat. A yummy cup of tea. Taking a bath. Sleeping! (so key and life changing)."
She added: "When it comes to keeping my mental right, I don't discriminate - I'm down for all of it! These rituals fill my cup and help me return to myself. They're little moments where it feels good simply to exist."
The star expressed that the COVID-19 pandemic taught her just how important mental health was, and she emphasized: "It's not always easy carving out some time for yourself, but implementing even just a few healthy practices into your life can make such a difference in your mental health/wellness."
Working out is a huge part of Jessica's me-time and she does so consistently. A few times a week, she likes to start off her day with hot yoga or sculpt yoga.
The actress loves switching up her routine and also does HIIT, martial arts, cycling, strength training, and dance classes, depending on her mood.
Jessica seeks out the natural dopamine effect post-workout and shared: "For me it really is about how I feel after I exercise so [that] I'm motivated to do it. I do it for my mental state, to clear my head," she told Cosmopolitan.
As for her diet, the actress eats healthy throughout the week and then over the weekend, she indulges and splurges on her appetite.
She revealed to Women's Health: "Four days a week, I try to eat plant-based, and I don't drink alcohol. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, all bets are off. That feels like moderation to me."
