Martha Stewart looked younger than ever in a new photo shared to Instagram, which saw the TV personality showcasing her glowing complexion while asleep on a plane. The 84-year-old was wrapped tightly in a blanket and fast asleep, with her gray-blonde hair neatly framing her face.
"I will admit this is what I look like at 35,000 feet," she began in the caption, before speaking on her skincare line, Elm Biosciences. "As a long-time traveller, I will tell you airplane cabins are absolutely ruthless on the skin. You don't want to start or end a trip worrying about redness or wrinkles."
The picture, which was taken on a long-haul flight to Milan, Italy, sparked a strong reaction from fans in the comment section, as they shared their delight over her incredibly glowy complexion.
"Looking 23 and rested queen," wrote one fan, while another added: "Sleeping beauty!!" Another chimed in: "Martha, your skin and your hair look beautiful," while a fourth declared: "Not one wrinkle".
Martha has long been the envy of her fans for her seemingly ageless visage, with many speculating that she had gone under the knife to achieve such results. The cooking icon has refuted this on several occasions, including on the 50+ & Unfiltered podcast.
"[Plastic surgery] doesn't appeal to me," she said. "I have this theory that if one takes care of oneself really well and follows strict but not life-threatening kinds of disciplines, one can look good, feel good and be good for a whole life."
"I'm 84 years old…and I'm trying so hard to look really good," she added, before revealing that her mother underwent plastic surgery.

"My mother came to me when she was 85 and asked if I would help her get a facelift," Martha recalled. "[The surgeon] looked at her and said, 'You're a beautiful woman. I can't make you look younger, but I can make you look better.' So she went for it…and she looked great."
Although she has never had plastic surgery, Martha is a fan of cosmetic treatments, like cheek fillers, Botox, and laser.
"We've done a little bit of skin tightening on you," said her doctor, Dr Dan Belkin, on The Martha Stewart Podcast. "We've done a little ultrasound tightening, I think, a long time ago. We did a little softwave, which is an ultrasound-based tightening device. And we've done a little bit of Ulthera, which is a great ultrasound-based skin tightening that works."
"It's not cutting me and sewing me up. It is really preventative and very encouraging because it really does make me look better," the mom of one declared.
Martha added on the podcast that her secret is to "eat really well", and to avoid "fad diets or any pills" so that she can stay healthy and youthful well into her eighth decade.
