Who is Ron Howard?
Ron Howard is something of a comedy legend. With two Oscars and countless other awards to his name, it's fair to say the actor, filmmaker and director has made his mark on cinema.
In front of the camera, he's best known for his early work on The Andy Griffith Show and Happy Days, while his best-loved directorial work includes How the Grinch Stole Christmas, A Beautiful Mind and The Da Vinci Code.

Marriage to Cheryl
Ron and Cheryl Howard have one of Hollywood's most solid marriages. The pair met while still at high school and Ron proposed three times before Cheryl said yes, tying the knot in 1975, five years after their first date.
At the time, she was putting her education first and went on to become a successful writer and was awarded a bachelor's degree in psychology as well as a master's degree in screenwriting.

Bryce Dallas Howard, 45
Star power clearly runs in the family as Ron's eldest daughter Bryce Dallas Howard has built an incredibly successful career of her own. Born on 2 March 1981, Bryce has worked on films like Spider-Man 3, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and The Help, but is best known as Claire Dearing in Jurassic World.
Bryce has been married to actor Seth Gabel since 2006 and the couple share two kids, Theodore Norman and Beatrice Jean.

Paige Howard, 41
Ron and Cheryl welcomed twins Paige and Jocelyn on 5 February 1985. Paige, like her older sister Bryce, has pursued a career in acting with guest appearances in 90210 and Arrested Development. In 2011, she starred in web series stalkTALK.
Paige married actor Tim Abou-Nasr in 2022, tying the knot in Central Park almost three years after their engagement, her father Ron acting as officiant.

Jocelyn Howard, 41
Jocelyn Howard makes up the second half of the Howard family's fraternal twins but has opted for a life away from the spotlight.
Her twin sister Paige occasionally shares updates via Instagram to celebrate their joint birthday on 5 February.

Reed Howard, 39
Reed Cross Howard is the youngest child and only son of Cheryl and Ron Howard. Born on 12 April 1987, he decided against a career in front of the camera and instead works as a professional golfer.
The athlete keeps his fans up to date via YouTube and Instagram, with videos and tutorials regularly uploaded to the platforms. Reed is married to wife Ashley Howard with whom he shares a daughter, Aspen Leigh Howard.

Ron is still busy at work, most recently executive producing podcast The Secret World of Roald Dahl and has many more projects in the work according to his IMDb, including a producer credit on Spaceballs: The New One.
Other recent executive producer credits include sports documentary Earnhardt, ABC News Studios documentary Barbara Walters: Tell Me Everything and Netflix crime drama series The Gringo Hunters.
