The Met Gala is around the corner and this year, Beyoncé will be the one of the co-chairs of the biggest fashion event of the year, which takes place on the first Monday of May in New York City.
We know what she'll bring fashion-wise, however, Sherri Shepherd inquired about whether or not she may bring a certain someone along for the lively ride too.
Tina Knowles was interviewed by the TV star on the Sherri show on April 28, and the journalist inquired if Blue Ivy Carter, 14, might make a surprise appearance on the red carpet alongside her mother.
The Matriarch author revealed to Sherri: "I don't know. Don't Sherri. You're trying to get me in trouble…I would love to see her go. I don't know. I don't know. I hope so."
Blue Ivy's multiple talents
The doting grandmother-of-three expressed that she's hesitant about Blue going into the entertainment industry like her family members, but she diplomatically explained: "That's not my first choice, but it's not my choice."
She gushed about how gifted Blue is, saying: "I think she's destined for it because she's just so talented in many ways. Like with hair and makeup, with fashion."
Tina added: "This girl plays the piano like a concert pianist really, and she's only had a few lessons, but she's just naturally talented. She reminds me of her mom so much."
When Sherri gave credit to Tina's strong influence on Blue as well, Tina confirmed: "Well, we both Capricorn you know. Three days apart."
Tina, Blue Ivy and Rumi Carter, eight, all joined the iconic singer onstage during the Cowboy Carter tour, and Tina expressed just how special that moment was to her.
She said: "That was like a dream come true to be onstage with them. It was beautiful. I don't know if they'll go in that direction, my grandkids, because they have that talent."
Tina's previous thoughts
Tina attended the Angel Ball Gala on October 27 in New York City and she exclusively spoke with HELLO! on the red carpet.
Tina previously revealed if she foresees her grandson Sir, eight, joining his sisters onstage in the future. She shared: "Sir is very laid back and not into the spotlight, so I don't know, but who knows? We'll see."
When it comes to her role as a grandmother, Tina expressed: "You know, I'm a really cool grandma. I pride myself on being a cool grandma."
The entrepreneur comically added: "Not all the time because that's not the results all the time."
Beyoncé will attend this year's Met Gala for the first time in a decade on May 4.
