Nicole Kidman's daughter, Sunday Rose, took to social media on May 1 to share a story about an "embarrassing fall" she experienced at school – and it's an experience she compared to an infamous fashion moment that occurred during the Oscars in 2013.
The 17-year-old shared a screenshot of her phone's lock screen, which featured a photograph of Jennifer Lawrence stumbling while ascending the stairs to accept the Best Actress award at the 85th Academy Awards. The actress famously took a tumble after tripping over the hem of her voluminous Dior gown.
Alongside the image, Sunday Rose penned: "Every time I open my phone I'm reminded I need to take notes from Jennifer Lawrence and wear Dior if I'd like to turn an embarrassing fall up the stairs on my walk to physics into a piece of art. Pls leave me alone."

Designed by Raf Simons for Christian Dior Haute Couture, Jennifer's dress is valued to have been around $4 million. The gown featured a bandeau neckline and a figure-hugging silhouette that cascaded into a voluminous skirt. The ivory design was adorned with delicate floral embroidery.

Similarly to her famous mom, Sunday is no stranger to the seams and stitches of Dior. The rising star walked in Dior’s fall/winter 2026 show at the Tuileries Garden in Paris. Long hailed as Jonathan Anderson’s muse, Sunday strutted down the catwalk in an elegant ensemble. Look 53 featured a draped maxi skirt adorned with a colorful floral print, paired with a cropped knit cardigan boasting oversized buttons and flared sleeves.
During Paris Fashion Week, Sunday also graced Dior's spring/summer 2026 runway on October 1. The teenager modelled a gray cotton blouse with pleats reminiscent of a black tie shirt, paired with billowing black trousers also featuring special pleats, plus black and white loafer, for Johnathan Anderson's highly-anticipated debut at the fashion house.

She wore a black, croc-effect leather trench coat, adorned with a large lilac cyclamen appliqué on one side of the lapel. The floral motif continued onto the footwear, with Sunday walking in a pair of open-toe pumps featuring rosy pink petal embellishments at the front, finished with a black ankle strap.
Sunday made her runway debut during Paris Fashion Week in October 2024, when she walked in Miu Miu's Spring/Summer 2025 show. Wearing a white babydoll dress and peep-toe heels, she opened the show.
