Jennifer Lopez is synonymous with her bold style choices, and her sartorial agenda for the 25th edition of the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival was no different. The singer graced the TCL Chinese Theatre on May 27 in an ab-baring number that proved olive green is indeed her color.
The star wore the Bronx and Banco Brielle Sage Diamond Halterneck Gown. The semi-sheer garment featured a draped halter neckline adorned with glitzy metal accents at the neck and waist. It also showcased daring side cutouts and flowed into an airy silhouette, complete with a thigh-high slit. Jennifer layered the gown with a matching feathered jacket and accessorized with the Lee Pouchet Clutch from Tyler Ellis and a pair of open-toe heels.
Jennifer's luscious locks were styled into her signature waves while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a bronze shimmery eye and a nude lip. The star was recognized with the inaugural Adelante Award for Industry on the opening night.
"Jennifer Lopez is part of a generation of artists who have helped define what was possible for Latino representation across film and television. Honoring her at this milestone edition of LALIFF carries particular meaning," said the festival co-founder Edward James Olmos.
The actress has been busy serving up a fashion marathon this week. The day prior, she attended the Office Romance world premiere in Los Angeles in an archival 2004 Atelier Versace couture dress from Lily et Cie.
The sculptural gown featured a strapless neckline with a voluminous skirt and lattice detailing. The bust featured a nude underlay embellished with crystallized black beadwork. The black overlay cascaded into a dramatic train embroidered with gold detailing. Styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, the ensemble was completed with jewelry pieces from Cartier. Hair stylist Justine Marjan opted for a sleek, straight look on Jennifer – a contrast from her typical bombshell waves.
