Jennifer Lopez closed her Las Vegas residency in style on March 28, choosing a show-stopping number to mark the occasion. After her performance in a sparkling stage costume, the singer slipped into a chic gown.
The black dress featured a high neckline and long sleeves adorned with feathered detailing on the cuffs. A daring open back with a scooped silhouette showcased her sculpted abs, while elegant buttons adorned the upper back portion of the gown.
Jennifer's carmel-hued locks were swept back into an effortless updo while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a smoky eye, bronzed cheek, and glossy nude lip. She accessorised with a pair of diamond-encrusted stud earrings.
The 56-year-old performed the last concert of her Up All Night residency in Las Vegas. Following the event, Jennifer took to Instagram to mark the finale. Alongside a photograph of her flaunting her curves in the velvet dress, the singer penned an emotional message to her fans.
"Last show tonight. Full heart. To my band, my crew, my dancers, my background vocalists and every single fan who was part of the most incredible Happy Era, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. The best is yet to come."
The Instagram carousel featured a series of photographs taken from Jennifer's Las Vegas residency, capturing her performing on stage in an embellished show-girl ensemble with feather accents. Jennifer initially kicked off her residency back in December 2025.
The star's followers flocked to the comments section to gush over her performance. "I'm in awe of Jennifer Lopez. At 56, she still moves, dances, and shines with incredible energy. She loves people, she loves her work, and she gives it her all every single time," penned one social media user.
"Legend! The best is yet to come indeed," added another follower.
Low-back numbers
Jennifer is no stranger to a scooped silhouette and even revived the divisive Noughties Bumster. Ensembles that spotlight a Bumster typically feature a figure-hugging silhouette designed to highlight and accentuate the body's curves.
The hitmaker donned a midnight blue jumpsuit that was adorned with sequin embellishments for the American Music Awards in Las Vegas last year. The '90s silhouette was spotlighted on Dilara Findikoglu’s low lace-up leather hot pants and Chet Lo’s deep-scoop backless dresses for their fall/winter 2024 collections. During Milan Fashion week, Diesel and Dsquared2 brought back the Bumster for fall/winter 2025.
