Mindy Kaling never fails to disappoint with her style on the red carpet, and her latest look is no different.
The 46-year-old actress stepped out at the NYC premiere of her new Hulu comedy, Not Suitable for Work, on Thursday, May 28, in the most spectacular gold sequinned midi dress.
Mindy looked slimmer than ever in the figure-hugging frock, which highlighted her tiny waist and featured silver rhinestone detailing across the bust and straps.
She added a pair of gold stilettos to elevate her petite frame and wore her raven locks in a straight style that cascaded down her back.
Her complexion glowed almost as much as her dress, and she highlighted her features with dark, glossy lips and a pop of gold shadow on her lids.
The actress admitted she is more "confident" than ever in her body after losing a whopping 40lbs in 2023.
Mindy's transformation hasn't gone unnoticed, either, but while she finds the interest "flattering", it can also be overwhelming at times.
"I'm feeling really confident in my body these days, which is not something that I've been able to say for my whole life, unfortunately," she previously told People. "I feel great.
"I know people are really interested in my body and the changes in my body, and I think it's flattering, and sometimes it's just a little much, so I don't try to tune it in too much. The truth is that I spend so much time and energy trying to be healthy."
Mindy touched on her weight loss again earlier this month, and said she was spurred on to change her lifestyle because she needed to "live at least 20 more years" for the sake of her three young children, Kit, Spencer, and Anne.
"Now I want to lose weight or have lost weight because I want to stave off things like diabetes. I had it on both sides of my family, and trying to avoid those kinds of things will, I think, help longevity for me, and that's my goal," she explained to Bustle.
"Do I wake up every day being like, 'I look amazing, and I'm so gorgeous'? No, unsurprisingly, but I truly feel so healthy."
Mindy's weight loss secrets include a 20-mile run or hike each week and weightlifting with her trainer.
"It's really a big commitment," she admitted. "I basically live in workout clothes so I can get it in, get an extra mile in.
"I just tell myself I have to do basically 20 miles a week of either hiking or running. And so that's been incredibly helpful to me," she added.
Mindy recently shared on the Today show that dieting never worked for her because she found limiting certain foods too restrictive.
"I used to be the person that was like, 'I have to stop eating this food or six weeks beforehand I'm only going to juice,'" she said, adding that the diet would only work "30 percent of the time" and "70 percent of the time [she] couldn't stick to it."
"I am never going to stop being a foodie. I'm never going to be someone who can just have spinach and salmon every single day."
