Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter Zahara has filed to remove "Pitt" from her last name. In official documents acquired by People on June 9, the 21-year-old made the request to the Superior Court of California on April 28. Her name was read out as "Zahara Marley Jolie" during her Spelman College graduation in May.

Brad and Angelina tied the knot in 2014 and split two years later. The former couple's divorce was finalized in December 2024 following a long legal battle over shared assets and claims of abuse. The former couple share six children. Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins, Knox and Vivienne.

Zahara's decision comes after her brother, Maddox Jolie, also filed to legally remove Brad's last name. The 24-year-old, who was adopted by Angelina in 2002, and later by Brad in 2006, had his name change finalized in May. He now goes by Maddox Chivan Jolie, and listed the reason for his name change as "personal".

Shiloh also legally removed "Pitt" from her surname after turning 18 in 2024. Her lawyer, Peter Levine, told People that Shiloh "made an independent and significant decision following painful events."

Meanwhile, Vivienne chose to be identified as "Vivienne Jolie" in 2024 on the playbill for The Outsiders, which she worked on with her mother. Brad and Angelina's other two sons, Pax and Knox, have yet to indicate whether they have dropped "Pitt" from their surnames.

During an interview with GQ, Brad was questioned on his former marriage to Angelina. When asked if he felt any relief from the conclusion, he responded: "No, I don't think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally."

Brad began dating Ines de Ramon in 2022 and the couple have largely kept their relationship private, only making their first public appearance in 2024 at the British Grand Prix.

Where are Angelina and Brad's kids today?

Vivienne is a budding theater producer and even helped her mother produce the Tony Award-winning play The Outsiders in 2024. Unlike his twin, Knox largely keeps out of the spotlight, rather pursuing his passion for sports, such as athletics.

Angelina's daughter, Shiloh, is pursuing a dance career in Los Angeles. She made her music video debut in "What's a Girl to Do" by Dayoung of Cosmic Girls. The song, which was officially released on April 7, was accompanied by a music video.

Zahara is away studying at Spelman college and has been an active participant in student life activities on campus. Pax has worked as an assistant director with his mom and also worked as a behind-the-scenes photographer for her film project, Maria. Maddox has also collaborated with his mom and served as an assistant director on her film Couture.
