The '90s gave us global stars like Brad Pitt, Ralph Fiennes and Cameron Diaz, but among Hollywood's favourites were a selection of stars that only people who remember the decade will have had plastered to their walls. These stars were no less loved but are unique to fans of the decade who experienced their stardom in real-time.

From comedy hits to teen heartthrobs, we're catching up with the stars three decades on and following their continued career onscreen, or sharp pivot to painting.

Pauly was the Nineties' favourite comic actor and continues his work as a comedian today

Pauly Shore

During the '90s Pauly Shore was something of a big, perhaps the biggest, deal on the comedy scene. His best-known hits include Encino Man, Son in Law and In the Army Now

Since his taste of stardom, Pauly has continued working in comedy and is currently on tour as a stand-up comedian. He recently went viral for his voiceover work on Pinocchio: A True Story.

Tia Carrere has appeared not once but twice in Disney hit 'Lilo & Stitch'

Tia Carrere

Tia Carrere is a familiar name to most '90s kids for her appearances as Cassandra in Wayne's World 1 & 2 and Jingo in Rising Sun, starring Sean Connery and Wesley Snipes, though Gen Z will no doubt be more familiar with her voice as Nani from 2002's Lilo & Stitch

She still works as an actress today and appeared in the 2025 remake of Lilo & Stitch as well as 2024 features like Waltzing with Brando and Paradise. She shares a son, Jude, with ex-husband Simon Wakeli.

Billy Baldwin's brother Alec is perhaps a better known name now, but Billy was a beloved face during the '90s

Billy Baldwin

The award of Best Known Baldwin surely goes to his older brother Alec, but Billy was a big deal in his own right during the Nineties. He's best known for his roles in Flatliners, Backdraft and Fair Game

He's still working in show business today and had four projects in 2025 alone and six upcoming projects on his IMDb. Billy is currently married to singer Chynna Phillips and is a father of three.
