The '90s gave us global stars like Brad Pitt, Ralph Fiennes and Cameron Diaz, but among Hollywood's favourites were a selection of stars that only people who remember the decade will have had plastered to their walls. These stars were no less loved but are unique to fans of the decade who experienced their stardom in real-time.
From comedy hits to teen heartthrobs, we're catching up with the stars three decades on and following their continued career onscreen, or sharp pivot to painting.

Pauly Shore
During the '90s Pauly Shore was something of a big, perhaps the biggest, deal on the comedy scene. His best-known hits include Encino Man, Son in Law and In the Army Now.
Since his taste of stardom, Pauly has continued working in comedy and is currently on tour as a stand-up comedian. He recently went viral for his voiceover work on Pinocchio: A True Story.

Tia Carrere
Tia Carrere is a familiar name to most '90s kids for her appearances as Cassandra in Wayne's World 1 & 2 and Jingo in Rising Sun, starring Sean Connery and Wesley Snipes, though Gen Z will no doubt be more familiar with her voice as Nani from 2002's Lilo & Stitch.
She still works as an actress today and appeared in the 2025 remake of Lilo & Stitch as well as 2024 features like Waltzing with Brando and Paradise. She shares a son, Jude, with ex-husband Simon Wakeli.

Richard Grieco
Actor and artist Richard Grieco is best known for '90s features like Mobsters and A Night at the Roxbury. Voted NATO/ShoWest's 1991 Male Star of Tomorrow, Richard Grieco was a hit on shows like 21 Jump Street and Booker.
Now, he continues to work his creative muscles as an abstract emotionalism artist and currently has 9 upcoming projects listed on IMDb.

Billy Baldwin
The award of Best Known Baldwin surely goes to his older brother Alec, but Billy was a big deal in his own right during the Nineties. He's best known for his roles in Flatliners, Backdraft and Fair Game.
He's still working in show business today and had four projects in 2025 alone and six upcoming projects on his IMDb. Billy is currently married to singer Chynna Phillips and is a father of three.

Lara Flynn Boyle
Golden Globe-nominated actress Lara Flynn Boyle made a name for herself in '90s movies like Wayne's World, Baby's Day Out, and Happiness. She also appeared on David Lynch's Twin Peaks as Donna Hayward which has seen a resurgence in popularity recently.
She kept working through the 2000s, appearing in Will Smith's hit franchise Men in Black II, and more recently worked on 2020's Death in Texas and 2023 dark comedy Mother Couch.

Campbell Scott
Campbell Scott starred opposite Julia Roberts, of megawatt smile and Pretty Woman fame, in Dying Young, appeared in Big Night and featured alongside members of Pearl Jam (who else?) in Singles.
Since then, he's kept working in the industry, appearing in episodes of 2025 series like FBI and Elsbeth. Other notable appearances include his role as Mark Usher in House of Cards and Richard Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
