Penny Lancaster is always serving serious beauty inspiration, and her latest hair transformation is no exception.

The wife of Rod Stewart, 55, shared a candid video of herself enjoying a solo shopping trip, but couldn't help but share the fabulous results of her latest trip to the salon, which saw her opt for some low-lights and on-trend face-framing layers by hairdresser Steven Carey.

"Thank you @stevencareyhair - my hairdresser for 25 years xx," Penny penned in the caption. As usual, the former model was impeccably dressed, wearing deep blue wide-leg jeans, a blue-and-white striped shirt, and a caramel-hued blazer. Penny completed her look with a pair of burgundy wide-rimmed glasses.

"Beautiful haircut," one fan penned alongside a heart eyes emoji. A second added: "Gorgeous hair, beautiful lady," alongside two red love hearts and a flame emoji. Meanwhile, a third penned: "Beautiful haircut, looking great, Penny."

Penny's candid confession

While we always think the mother-of-two looks perfect, Penny previously admitted that throughout her life she has been subject to scrutiny about her body.

Former model confessed she has faced scrutiny over her appearance

She previously told Woman and Home: "As a model, I was constantly analysing and criticising my body. Whether it was my hyperhidrosis [excessive sweating], my crooked toes from ballet or a stretch mark," Penny explained.

"When I first met Rod, we were by a pool, and I was thinking, 'Has he seen that stretch mark? Surely he expects perfection!'"

Supportive Rod

If there's one person who will be there to support Penny during the tough times, it's her doting rockstar husband.

Rod couldn't be more supportive of his wife

Last year, Penny, who has dyslexia, told HELLO! in an exclusive interview about how Rod supported her while she wrote her book.

"It took me back to standing up in class and having to read in front of everyone. I thought: ‘I'm going to stumble over my words and stutter and then I won't be able to read and I'll run off in a mess.’ Rod said to me: 'Darling, you're great with people; it’s an ability you have that you can't teach someone. They will see how genuine you are.' And he went through the script with me and helped me work through it."
