Amal Clooney never goes out of fashion! The international human right lawyer was a vision in a sweetheart gown for Omega House’s Milano Cortina opening night on Saturday February 7, 2026.
Amal arrived hand in hand with husband George Clooney, with the pair in a coordinated black-and-navy palette, for the event held inside chef Carlo Cracco’s restaurant in Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, as part of the 2026 Winter Olympics. Omega House is the Swiss watchmaker’s first Winter Games hospitality venue, and is a members only space.
The gown was made of a soft chiffon with sheer inserts that draped her body with horizontal ruching details gathering into a central seam that opened into a thigh-high split.
The classic look came a day after Amal wore perhaps one of her boldest looks yet, as she arrived in Milan in a black mini dress and sheer tights, layering the ensemble with a black longline wool coat for a touch of '90s minimalism.
© GC ImagesBut it was her playful choice of footwear that got fans talking as Amal paired the look with Versace's Leopard Slice Knee-High Boots, which feature a pointed-toe, stiletto heel, and pony-effect calf hair.
Keeping with the Versace theme, HELLO! reported that George's wife accessorized with the Versace Medusa '95 Tote Bag in black smooth calf leather.
Amal has often worked with the Italian fashion house; who can forget the gorgeous golden glitterball Atelier Versace garment she wore for the 2023 Fashion Awards? She also wore a vibrant green Versace minidress to the Golden Globes x Netflix After-Party in 2026 put a modern spin on Elizabeth Hurley's iconic safety pin gown by Versace from the 1994 premiere of Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Although Amal's style is often designed as classic and chic, she has often put a pop of cheetah print in her wardrobe over the years and has never been afraid to lean into trends.

Amal, who recrntly turned 48, was in Davos with her husband to speak on the The Power of Voice panel which took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum.
It's not the first time she has spoken at the annual event, as in 2017 she attended the Women of Impact dinner hosted by publisher Tina Brown with guests including Nigeria’s female finance minister, Kemi Adeosun, then-Vice President Joe Biden.
Amal and her Nobel Peace Prize-nominated client, Nadia Murad, appeared as honored guests; Nadia, a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, was taken prison by ISIS three years prior in 2014, and Amal helped Nadia make public the plight of the Yazidi people, a group native to Northern Iraq.
