February was a short month, making way for a fabulous long March full of royal style. While the royal ladies of Europe, from Princess Charlene of Monaco to Queen Mary of Denmark, have been lying low this month so far, the royal style set of Britain has been out in full force.
The Commonwealth Day service and Cheltenham Festival have got the month off to a flying start with royals turning out in droves for both events – and they have been dressed to perfection.

The Princess of Wales

She exuded classic elegance in a navy Catherine Walker coat dress featuring a pleated skirt paired with a netted saucer hat by Sean Barrett and Strathberry's croc print 'Multrees Chain Wallet'.
The most surprising element of her look was her jewellery. She opted for Queen Elizabeth's heirloom 'Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings' offset by her £275 faux pearl necklace by Susan Caplan.
Zara Tindall
© Getty ImagesNo one does race day fashion like Zara Tindall, as she proved at this year's Cheltenham Festival. Making an appearance on day one of the annual equestrian event, the daughter of Princess Anne centred her look around a wool skirt and matching cropped jacket by The Fold.
The navy set was accessorised with a silky pussy bow blouse by Really Wild, as well as Fairfax & Favor's 'Regina' boots, an Aspinal of London croc print bag, and a leaf-adorned hat by Juliette Millinery.
Queen Camilla

Putting a modern spin on Queen Elizabeth's rule against black tights, Camilla opted for the opaque hosiery and coordinated her tights with capped-toe heels by Eliot Zed and her black Atelier Renard bag.

The wife of King Felipe , who was a news anchor and trained journalist before marrying into the Spanish royal family, looked the consummate professional in an asymmetrical grey tweed suit.
She accessorised in a simple, yet impactful way with heeled chunky loafers and stacked huggy earrings.
