Queen Camilla looked straight from the Barbie movie on Tuesday evening as she joined King Charles at a White House state dinner hosted by President Donald Trump during the royal couple's state visit to the United States.
The Queen, 78, stunned in a hot pink bespoke Fiona Clare gown, a new addition to her wardrobe, which featured a V-shaped neckline, subtly puffed shoulders for added drama, and long sleeves. The figure-skimming dress featured a full-length skirt for a classically elegant finish.
Historic accessories

It is customary for a state banquet in the UK for Camilla to wear a tiara, as she did in September 2025, when President Trump was invited to the UK for a state visit, donning the Belgian Sapphire Tiara. Camilla did not wear one on Tuesday night, despite the dress code being 'White Tie', which usually warrants a tiara.

An impactful state dinner look
Of Camilla's look, Oriona Robb, a luxury stylist with over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, told us: "Barbie pink is inherently bold, but what makes it work here is the control in the silhouette, the structured bodice and softly flared skirt create elegance and movement, ensuring the colour never tips into overpowering."

In a room full of formalwear, this shade ensures visibility and impact, but the classic cut keeps it grounded in royal tradition. It’s a clever balance of boldness and refinement, a look that feels both regal and quietly fashion-forward."
Camilla's US State Visit wardrobe
