Happy Birthday, Princess Charlotte! Proud parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared the most beautiful picture of their daughter for her eleventh birthday on Saturday morning.
The young royal looked lovely wearing a preppy Ralph Lauren knitted jumper. The cable-knit style is priced at £111 and is part of the brand's women's collection. We can't know for certain, but Charlotte likely borrowed the knit from her mother's wardrobe - Kate is a huge fan of Ralph Lauren, and has been partial to the brand's knitted sweaters and classic crewnecks for many years.
If you look closely, the style is slightly oversized, and she has expertly layered it with a blue shirt and jeans. Prince George's sister can be seen joyously smiling at the camera while walking in a field of daisies in the candid snap, which also shows the young royal sporting light blue nails.
The previously unseen image was shot by Matt Porteous during the Wales family's Easter break in Cornwall. The family often turns to Mr. Porteous's photography for occasions like this.
The image was posted on the Kensington Palace Instagram and X accounts, and the caption read: "Wishing Charlotte a very happy 11th birthday!"
It quickly gathered an abundance of comments. One Instagram user wrote: "Wow! She is such a beautiful young lady! I feel like it was yesterday when we heard the news about her birth, and now look at her!" Another quipped: "It feels like only yesterday we were waiting outside the Lindo Wing to catch the first glimpse of this little Princess. Now, she's a pre-teen! Happy 11th Birthday, Princess Charlotte!"
Charlotte's nails
Charlotte's blue nails were also on show when she appeared in a surprise portrait alongside the Prince and Princess of Wales and her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis, to celebrate her parents' 15th wedding anniversary earlier this week.
This isn't the first time Charlotte has rocked an immaculately polished manicure. Back in 2025, Charlotte made her debut in the world of all things beauty, sporting bubblegum pink nails while attending Wimbledon, which took centre stage as she watched Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner from the royal box.
