Meghan Markle is ready for summer! The stunning former Suits star took to Instagram on Tuesday evening to share a plethora of fabulous, sun-drenched images with her 4.6 million followers.
"Springing into summer," Meghan captioned the post, as she shared several other photos from her California home, including one of herself sporting a double-denim look.
The 44-year-old donned a denim shirt and jeans from the US brand Tracy James Collection. The brand confirmed that Meghan had worn their threads, penning: "@meghan rocking head to toe #TJC denim - our Sunday 'shirtigan' on top, paired with the iconic Upper Village jeans on the bottom. Effortless, timeless, classic," they noted.
Although the mother-of-two looks resplendent in this look, double denim often sparks a huge debate in the fashion world, with many branding it the ultimate fashion faux pas.
It's actually colloquially known as the 'Canadian tuxedo,' and in recent years, it has gained popularity again. Although many associate it with '00s Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears at the VMAs, remarking that the utilitarian textures can look flat and overly matchy-matchy, it is now often considered the height of coolness and nods to a casual yet elevated look, just like Meghan's latest ensemble.
Meghan's denim shirt moments
Meghan is a longtime fan of the denim shirt. She famously sported a J. Crew offering to cheer on Prince Harry at the polo in 2022, and to read Archie a story during lockdown in 2020. Even during her pre-royal days, she often wore a denim shirt off-duty from playing her character Rachel Zane in Suits.
Meghan's new family photos
Also in the bank of snaps, seven-year-old Prince Archie looked just like his dad, Prince Harry, as he was pictured running carefree around the backyard of their Montecito home with his father.
Harry was smiling at his son as they played together, the 41-year-old with a giant blown-up soccer ball that he rolled around. Archie was dressed in beige shorts and a blue T-shirt, with his bright red hair on full display in the sunshine.
In another snap, Meghan and Harry's daughter, Princess Lilibet, wore a shirt that read "B is for Beyoncé", pointing to her love of the legendary performer. The Duchess also included a photo of baby birds in a nest, a picture of her bounty of vegetables, and a clip of her chopping onions inside her kitchen.
