This spring, fashion is feeling playful. Structured barrel-leg jeans and bubble-hem skirts are offering sculptural volume, while polkadots are spending another year in the spotlight. Colour palettes are shifting toward dopamine-inducing tones, such as capri blue and lemon yellow, with navy staking its claim as the season's primary neutral. When it comes to texture, delicate lace layering, baggy denim (for both the torso and legs) and cropped trench coats are paving way for versatile dressing as we ride the wave of temperamental weather typical to this time of year.
One high-street destination to have on your radar for elevated spring style that embraces all of these trends is George at Asda, which has carved out a new aesthetic for affordable dressing in recent years. Its pieces are wardrobe staples that sit at the intersection of trending and perennial, meaning you’ll love wearing them now and in years to come.
Ahead, three H! Fashion editors share their favourite pieces from George’s SS26 range…

Choosing my favourite items from George's SS26 range is tricky because George has got some really good jeans right now – and I love good jeans. However, I’m really loving the mini black collared shirt dress because it’s a chic staple to pair with boots and, as it gets slightly warmer, with ballet flats as well. Consider it a lovely choice for all seasons. Aside from the denim pieces, George has some really good layering pieces too, which are great for spring because you never know what the weather’s going to be like. So, I’m also crushing on this long-sleeve polkadot shirt, which is perfect for just that as you can wear it under the denim dress.

I have a lot of favourite pieces from George’s SS26 range. But my heart is with this pair of incredible jeans, which are designed for high-energy days where comfort is just as important as a sleek silhouette. I’ve been pairing them with this sweet cardigan that has a scarf built into the neckline. And then, I’ve been completing the ensemble with George’s new red straw tote bag – to me, it’s a versatile hero accessory that pulls the entire look together. Ultimately, George’s new season collection is as much about practicality as it is about helping you look effortlessly put-together.

I am a massive fan of polkadots at the moment; they’re really on trend. We’ve seen them a lot in street style, particularly at Copenhagen Fashion Week. And so, right now, I’ve got my eye on George's gorgeous brown denim pieces with white polkadots. I feel like a lot of polkadots we’ve seen so far for SS26 have been on maxi skirts and jackets, but we haven’t really seen them much on denim. George also has this gorgeous cardigan which I love the rich brown hue of – and it’s complete with chic gold buttons.
