Hollywood legend Robert De Niro's love for his hometown, New York, led him to stake a claim in the city's real estate landscape, so much so that he bought his own 78-acre estate two hours outside the sprawling metropolis.
The 82-year-old Meet the Fockers star purchased his Riverside Trust primary residence in 1997 for $1.5 million and replaced many of its features to accommodate his growing family over the years.
Robert recently welcomed his seventh child, a daughter named Gia, now three, with his 46-year-old partner Tiffany Chen.
The star has six other children with three other partners: Drena, 54, and Raphael, 49, with his ex-wife Diahnne Abbott, Elliot, 28, and Helen, 14, with ex-wife Grace Hightower, and twins Aaron and Julian, 30, with ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith.
It is believed that he is raising his latest addition with his partner on the lavish Gardiner estate that features a 2,222-square-foot house where an 18th-century farmhouse used to sit.

The actor's residence is a one-and-a-half to two-hour drive outside New York City and is located in Gardiner, Ulster County in the Hudson Valley region, just north of Westchester County.
Overall, the luxurious estate boasts six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a converted barn that doubles as a recreational area spanning 14,000 square feet.
In his spare time, Robert and his family can access a gym, boxing room, game room, swimming pool, sauna, basketball court, and a small film studio to get their steps in and keep themselves entertained.
Elsewhere on the private grounds, the estate has two guest houses, a small ski slope, and a tennis court.

After welcoming seven children, Robert's estate became a haven for the father and his growing brood. His youngest daughter was born three years ago, on 6 April 2023.
He welcomed the little girl with his partner of five years, Tiffany, whom he met in 2015 on the set of his film The Intern. The martial arts instructor was playing a tai chi instructor in the movie, who taught Robert's character.
Becoming a father for the seventh time changed his habits, and the film star admitted he has less time now to watch long features, like the ones that made him famous, and only watches children's TV.
He told BBC Radio 2's Breakfast Show: "I don’t watch as many movies as I should, I try to watch films especially that I’m in. I just wanna keep up, but I watch current events if you will news stuff like that. Now I watch with my little girl, The Wiggles and Ms Rachel."
Robert also previously opened up to The Times during Gia's early toddler years and said: "I'm an early riser. I've got a 19-month-old baby. I spend my mornings watching [the YouTuber for toddlers] Ms Rachel with her, and I give her her bottle."
