The Prince of Wales and his wife Princess Kate stole the show during a visit to Powys, Wales this week, delighting the local community with their down-to-earth presence.
One particular moment that has melted fans' hearts came when Prince William was gifted a hand-drawn daffodil by a little girl, prompting the father-of-three to go into full-on dad mode.
The touching incident, which you can watch in the video above, saw the youngster bashfully approaching the royal to present him with her picture ahead of St David’s Day, the annual celebration of Welsh culture.
Speaking in a low voice, William is seen thanking her and sweetly displaying his "gentle" parenting techniques to put her at ease, before turning his attention to another little boy and placing a reassuring hand on his arm
Body language expert and astrologer Inbaal Honigman previously offered HELLO! an insight into William's parenting techniques based on his star sign, describing the royal as "loving and caring".
"Prince William is a gentle Cancerian, which means he is loving and caring. Cancerians are family-minded, devoted and emotional. They enjoy simple pleasures such as eating dinner with their loved ones or holding hands. A Cancer is romantic and intuitive," Inbaal said.
Special visit to Wales
The Prince and Princess of Wales' royal engagement began with a visit to the town of Llanidloes, where they visited the Hanging Gardens community centre, before heading to the Oriel Davies, a public contemporary art gallery in Newtown.
The visit continued by meeting a group of people learning the Welsh language, before culminating at the cultural hub of Hafan yr Afon.
The outing no doubt held a special place in William’s heart since the royal has been learning key phrases in the language since becoming the Prince of Wales four years ago.
Another moment from William and Kate's engagement has gone viral this week. Princess Kate was forced to decline a fan request for an autograph, reacting to the protocol-breaking moment in the most respectful manner.
"I can't sign things, I'm so sorry. I can shake your hand, though," she said to him, as they shared a gentle hug. "Nice to meet you," Kate politely added before she moved on to speak to other royal enthusiasts.
The Prince of Wales' parenting style
Last week, we got another insight into William’s parenting style thanks to his insightful interview on Radio 1's Life Hack, which offered an unprecedented insight into his mental health, including how he handles difficult questions from his children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, ten, and Prince Louis, seven.
Asked about whether his children are open about their emotions, William replied: "Yes, sometimes too much. I get all the details, which I love. It's amazing."
In a rrefreshingly candid moment, the devoted father admitted he felt guilt about not being able to help them deal with big emotions straight away.
He explained: "Being able to understand it, have time with it, decipher it, sometimes. You feel a sense that you need to fix it for everyone and that I find quite difficult. I have to remind myself that you don't need to fix everything but you need to listen and it's important to be ok with those feelings and comments."
HCPC-registered Senior Education and Child Psychologist praised the senior royal for his approach to parenting and hailed his words as an example of how to establish "emotional safety" in the home environment.
She told HELLO!: "Prince William is right to highlight how powerful it is for parents to listen rather than feel they must fix everything. When children are encouraged to talk about their thoughts and feelings, we are strengthening their emotional literacy.
"They move beyond simple words like happy or sad and begin to develop a richer vocabulary, such as frustrated, disappointed, worried or embarrassed. This gives them the tools to make sense of their internal world rather than becoming overwhelmed by it."
