This time last year...
It's been a year since Prince Harry resigned from the charity, Sentebale, which he co-founded in 2006 in honour of his mother, the late Princess Diana, to help people in southern Africa living with HIV and Aids.
The Duke of Sussex, along with his co-founder, Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, stepped down after the relationship between the trustees and the chair of its board, Dr Sophie Chandauka, "broke down beyond repair" when she was asked to resign and took legal action.
In a joint statement released in March last year, Harry and Prince Seeiso said they were resigning from their roles with "heavy hearts" and in "solidarity with the board of trustees".
"It is devastating that the relationship between the charity's trustees and the chair of the board broke down beyond repair, creating an untenable situation," they said. Adding that the trustees "acted in the best interest of the charity" by asking Dr Chandauka to step down, but that her decision to take legal action to retain her position was "further underscoring the broken relationship".

A plaque unveiling
King Charles was pictured speaking after unveiling a plaque commemorating his visit to Aviva Studios, the home of Factory International, to see the collaboration between the King's Trust and Factory Academy, who deliver the Trust's Creative Futures, Get into Event Production programme.
A tasty treat
King Charles was all smiles as he accepted some cake during his visit to Aviva Studios today.
Mariama Jallow, another student helped by Creative Futures, talked about her personal journey of overcoming adversity and read a poem she had written. "That was wonderful," the King said. She replied: "Thank you so much," before sharing that she had done the creative music programme and health and social care.
She then handed the King a cake that had been made especially for him. "For me? Thank you so much. Are you sure you don’t want a bit?" the King said. "No, it's ok. It’s for you!" she giggled. "Bless you," he said.
The future is bright
King Charles was told how a production is put together for a live music event during his visit to Aviva Studios.
King Charles shows off his DJ skills
King Charles has stepped out in Manchester to witness the collaboration between The King’s Trust and Factory Academy, who deliver the Trust’s Creative Futures, Get into Event Production programme.
He was seen trying his hand at a spot of DJing alongside Christian St Louis - and he was rather good!
"It's not as easy as it looks, is it?" Christian said, to which the King replied: "Noooo" while laughing, and waving his hands over the equipment. Christian also told Charles that the Trust's collaboration has been "more than helpful" in helping him forge a career as a DJ, as it has helped him to build a book of contacts in the industry.
A live performance
King Charles watched a live music performance by Rory Green during a visit to Aviva Studios to see the collaboration between the King's Trust and Factory Academy, who deliver the Trust's Creative Futures, Get into Event Production programme, in action.
Meeting young students
King Charles also met stage construction students at Aviva Studios today. They were all smiles during their interaction with the monarch.
Princess Charlene's secret tribute
Princess Charlene captivated guests at the Provale Solidarité charity gala in Paris last Friday, debuting an elegant hairstyle that served as a touching tribute.
The 48-year-old princess styled her growing blonde hair into a polished low bun, accented by a single face-framing curl.
A fashion expert we spoke to noted the curl appeared to be a deliberate homage to her late mother-in-law, Grace Kelly, who often favoured similar soft, Old Hollywood waves. Since late 2025, Charlene has transitioned away from her signature short cuts toward shoulder-length styles, using understated updos to balance her more maximalist formal wear.
Warm welcome
As King Charles left the Aviva Studios today, he was met with a group of local youngsters.
Princess of Wales to attend Irish Guards' St Patrick’s Day Parade
Make sure you come back to us tomorrow for more royal updates as the Princess of Wales is set to attend Irish Guards’ St Patrick’s Day Parade.
Kate, 44, will join the parade where she will present the traditional sprigs of shamrock to the Officers and Guardsmen who will in turn issue it along the ranks, as well as presenting it to the Irish Wolfhound regimental mascot.
The parade will conclude with a Royal Salute and march-past where the royal will take the salute as Colonel.
King Charles' second engagement
After leaving Aviva Studios, King Charles headed to The Renew Hub, the UK's largest reuse and repair facility, in Stretford, Greater Manchester.
Here, he viewed donated and salvaged bikes awaiting refurbishment, having been joined by the CEO of SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, John Scanlon. The visit took place during the launch of the Circularity in Practice sustainability initiative.
The Hub is designed to tackle waste, reduce consumption, and promote the circular use of materials by repairing, refurbishing, and reselling pre-loved household items that would otherwise go to waste.
King Charles' next stop
After visiting The Renew Hub, King Charles was shown food for the Coronation Food Project during a visit to a Greencore food manufacturing site.
He also met members of staff during a visit to the Greencore food manufacturing site in Warrington. The King visited to see an example of the food industry as it transforms its approach to tackling food waste and reducing hunger.
How Prince William and Kate acted when the cameras were off
Prince William and Princess Kate's public warmth is no act, according to those who see them behind the scenes. During a visit to the RNLI’s Tower Lifeboat Station last Thursday, the couple proved they are just as down-to-earth as they appear on camera.
Sydney Horsted, an RNLI lifeguard supervisor, told us that the Waleses are a "normal, happy couple" who were genuinely engaged with the volunteers. After spending the morning at Borough Market, where they were seen icing cakes and serving crumble, the pair brought a stash of treats to the crew.
Their visit, which included a spirited lifeboat ride on the Thames, was defined by "laughter and humour," leaving a lasting impression of their relatability and authentic interest in the charity's lifesaving work.

The finishing touches are being completed on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's future Marsh Farm home, where he is due to move once the renovations are concluded, it can be revealed.
After being stripped of his royal titles, Andrew, 66, moved out of his 30-room residence at Royal Lodge in Windsor, where he had lived with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, since 2004.
In February 2026, Andrew was confirmed to have moved to the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, which is owned by his brother, King Charles.
