Princess Charlene of Monaco inaugurated the new parent-child unit at the Princess Grace Hospital Centre, wearing an entirely designer ensemble that amounted to over 5,000 pounds.
The 48-year-old royal was dressed head-to-toe in a spring-inspired midi-length gown made in muted lilac and blue tones and matching accessories.
Featuring long sleeves and a skater-style skirt, the dress was covered in a large floral pattern with blue, lilac and white petals covering the bodice.
The garment was from Erdem's collection, cost £948, and cinched just under the princess's ribcage as she toured the new hospital's unit.
Charlene added a pair of Gianvito Rossi sling-back baby blue kitten heeled pumps that cost £684, according to Royal Fashion Police. She carried her belongings in a mini Lady D-Joy Dior bag in ice blue cannage lambskin, which retails for £3,678.
The elegant royal scraped her blonde hair back from her face and styled it in a sophisticated up-do, leaving a single strand hanging loose around her face, which she curled into soft waves.
She wore a pair of subtle stud earrings and kept her makeup light, adding a darkish red lipstick and a dusting of blush to her cheeks.
Charlene was joined by her husband, Prince Albert II, as the pair opened the new unit at the Princess Grace Hospital Centre in the Principality's La Colle area. The innovative section of the hospital included four rooms designed as cocoons, which were intended to closely resemble a family environment.
Sky-high heels for Exotic Garden opening
The Monaco royal has been making her way through the designer labels as she sported the Dior handbag after an outing in towering Louis Vuitton heels for the opening of the principality's Exotic Garden on 25 March.
Enhancing her frame with the three-inch 'Heartbreaker' heels, featuring a stiletto heel and gold 'V'-shaped hardware, Charlene stunned in the designer shoes and carried a matching mini 'Capucines' bag, which retails for £5,100 for the occasion.
Commenting on her chic look, Oriona Robb, a luxury stylist with more than 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, told Best Quality Designer Handbag : "Princess Charlene's look is a strong example of her signature approach to modern tailoring, and the Louis Vuitton pumps play a crucial role in refining it.
"The outfit leans into sharp, structured lines, but the sleek, pointed heel introduces just enough femininity to soften the overall effect."
