Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor could be stripped of long-held honour
King Charles' disgraced brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor could be stripped of another honour – this one he's held since he was just two years old.
Andrew could be losing his honour in the Antarctic, following a public suggestion to remove him. The disgraced royal was aged two when his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, named a 74-kilometre landmark in the Antarctic the 'The Prince Andrew Plateau' after him.
Andrew previously lost his royal titles last November.
Prince William's comforting exchange during mental health charity visit
Prince William shared a heartfelt moment during his visit to mental health charity Norfolk and Waveney Mind.
The Prince of Wales comforted businessman Paul Gannon, who became emotional in one of the weekly group sessions while sharing how the charity had supported him. "These guys are amazing, they really are," Paul said, adding "they have been with me…" before being unable to continue.
William told Paul, "don’t worry, take your time on it," and placed a hand on his shoulder. "I’ll talk until you’re ready to say anything," the royal reassured.
King Charles quietly bids farewell to mysterious bodyguard
King Charles has quietly bid farewell to his mysterious "hero" bodyguard, more than a month after the US state visit, which was his final duty with the royal. The security chief, whose name has now been revealed to be Jag, celebrated his years of service with a soirée in London on Wednesday night.
"Last night I was honoured to be invited to Chelsea Barracks for a soirée celebrating the retirement of my good friend Jag, King Charles’ personal Head of Security for many years and, for those who know him, simply one of the finest people you will ever meet," James Eden, founder of Private White V.C and who was in attendance last night, wrote on Instagram.
He continued: "Without question one of the most photogenic and stylish men I have ever met. Over the years I have loved seeing him photographed wearing Private White V.C in every corner of the globe."
James said he considered the bodyguard to be an "absolute hero to my children".
