Keri Russell celebrated the milestone of turning the big 5-0 on March 23.
The Americans star may have entered a new decade, however, she has an effortless youthful glow, as she beats to her own drum when it comes to how she approaches her wellness routines.
She admitted: "When I see those people who look so great for their age, I'm like, 'Oh, I do want that. I do want to look like that at 60.' I'm just not ready to stick to a strict regimen. I still want to have fun a little longer. I'll still have the pasta Bolognese," per Shape.
Keri's routine
Speaking of food, the actress has "only [one] rule," which is that she has to start and end her day with hot water and lemon.
On top of that, she emphasized that she is "a pretty healthy eater," and her trick for maintaining her elegant figure is by consuming "smaller portions throughout the day."
Keri's career
Although Keri became an actress, she grew up being a trained dancer and initially aspired to become a professional in the field.
At the young age of 13, she impressively earned a scholarship to attend a dance school. Her skillset gave her an edge when it came to her audition for The Mickey Mouse Club, during which it was requested that she not only dance, but sing as well.
Keri got the role and was featured on the show from 1991 to 1994.After that, her starring role on the hit show Felicity made her a household name between 1998 to 2002, as she rocked her signature dirty blonde curls for the role.
In 1999, she won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Television Series: Drama category for Felicity. That same year she made a big chop to her hair in order to match her character's storyline.
Once her role as Felicity concluded, the actress questioned whether or not she wanted to continue acting. She moved to New York for a fresh start and took a few years off to figure out what to do next.
In 2004, she appeared in an off-Broadway play called Fat Pig. Keri went on to film Mission: Impossible III, The Magic of Ordinary Days, August Rush, The Girls in the Park, Waitress and more.
In 2013, she starred in The Americans, which lasted for six seasons. Most recently, Keri has continued to show off her acting chops through her captivating role in The Diplomat.
