Former Russian tennis player Anna Kournikova, 44, isn't the only sports star in her family.
Her younger brother Allan Kournikova, 21, is one to watch in the world of golf.
The athlete often cheers on her little brother from the sidelines during his competitions.
Allan's career
© Getty ImagesAllan started playing golf at the young age of four. When he turned eight, his parents signed him into Palm Beach Virtual School, which offered a flexible school schedule as he trained for golf.
All that practice paid off because Allan brought his A-game to the field.
He successfully won the U.S. Kids Golf European Championships between 2011-2015.
He also secured the top spots of the U.S. Kids Golf World Championships from 2011-2013 and then again in 2015.

During that year, he also won three titles in the eight-year-old category during the European and World Championships.
He won the European championship in 2014. The following year, he won both the European and the World championships in the 10-year-old category.
In 2019, he won the AJGA Pinehurst Junior competition. In 2020 he participated in the Bobby Chapman Invitational.
Allan's connection to Kai

Kai struggled during the competition and Allan came to her defense.
He shared: "I'm really excited to see what's ahead, because if she wants to pursue her career in this game, she can play at the highest level in my opinion," per DailyMail.

© InstagramAllan continued: "As far as talent goes, she's got as much talent as anyone. I think it's raw talent as of now. I told her when we were walking off the green, I said, 'Can you imagine if you did this every week, just how comfortable you'd be?'"
He believes pursuing golf full time is the next step for the player.
The athlete added: "I mean, these girls come here, it's like a 9-to-5 for them. They're clocking in, they show up, they play, they leave. 20 weeks a year they're doing this. This is our first time."
Anna's career
© Getty ImagesAnna started her sports career young, just like Allan. For New Years at five years old, she received a tennis racquet as a gift and got hooked.
At eight years old, she immigrated to the United States in order to get professional training at the prestigious Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy.
She won two grand slam titles during her career, retiring in 2003 due to the lingering effects of injuries.
