Christie Brinkley got transparent about how Billy Joel has been doing health wise.
The duo were married from 1985 to 1994 and they welcomed their daughter Alexa Ray Joel, 40, together the same year that they tied the knot.
In February 2025, Billy fell onstage and a month later, he revealed that he was diagnosed with NPH, normal pressure hydrocephalus, which affects his balance, vision and hearing.
The singer cancelled his concert dates through July 2026, and prioritized physical therapy.

Christie exclusively shared with HELLO! how he has been doing lately, as the star attended the City Harvest 2026 Benefit Gala in New York City on April 21, 2026.
"He's doing very well and she was so excited to be able to perform for him and I was sorry that I had to miss that night. I was out of town, but otherwise it was so wonderful," she revealed.

Christie is the mother to Jack Paris Brinkley Cook, 30, whom she shares with her former husband Richard Taubman.
She is also the parent of Sailor Brinkley Cook, 27, whom she welcomed into the world with her ex-husband Peter Cook. During their marriage, Peter adopted Jack.
When it comes to teaching her children confidence, Christie was proud to say that both of her daughters are sure of themselves.
The model revealed: "They're both very strong in that area [of body positivity]. In fact, Sailor teaches me about all of that."

Alexa has a flourishing music career just like her dad, with whom she's performed onstage.
Christie, Sailor and Alexa previously posed together for the Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue, and the NYDJ campaign in honor of Mother's Day.
Sailor is a model, was featured in Vogue, and has walked the runway for Elie Tahari.
She also stepped in to take her mom's place on Dancing with the Stars in 2019 after Christie got a broken arm during rehearsals.
