Rudy Giuliani recently experienced a major health scare. The 81-year-old, who has pneumonia, was rushed to the hospital on May 3 in Florida.
His spokesperson Ted Goodman revealed on X, formerly known as Twitter: "Mayor Rudy Giuliani is currently in the hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition."
He continued: "Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he’s fighting with that same level of strength as we speak. We do ask that you join us in prayer for America's Mayor Rudy Giuliani."
As we await to learn more about what is happening with Rudy's health, we've delved into his family ties with his three ex-wives and two estranged kids below.
Rudy got married to his childhood sweetheart Regina Peruggi in 1968 and the duo got an annulment in 1982.
Six weeks later he proposed to news anchor Donna Hanover. The pair tied the knot two years later, and welcomed two children into the world together, including Andrew Harold Giuliani, who was born in 1986 and Caroline Rose Giuliani, who was born in 1989.
Andrew played professional golf on Duke University's team, however, he switched paths and went into the world of politics, like father, like son.
In 2017, he worked as an associate director for the Office of Public Liaison. He was promoted to his new role of being a special assistant during Donald Trump's first term as president.
Caroline didn't go into politics, instead, she studied film production at Harvard University. Post-graduation, she worked as Lionsgate Motion Picture Group and The Gotham Group's executive assistant.
She worked on the sets of Trophy Wife, 666 Park Avenue, Hello Ladies and Someone Great. Caroline is also a writer who has written an essay for Vanity Fair expressing why she voted against Donald's re-election.
The piece gave insight into not only her political stance, but her interpersonal situation with her father. The article was titled: "Trump Took My Dad From Me. Please Don't Let Him Take Our Country Too."
She candidly shared in part in the article: "Watching my dad’s life crumble since he joined forces with Trump has been extraordinarily painful, both on a personal level and because his demise feels linked to a dark force that threatens to once again consume America."
The actress is a doting mother to two children, has been married to her husband Dax Shepard since 2013, and she celebrated the special day in a unique way
